As shipped the sharpness was just OK and had a slight dull spot close to tip , I’ve sharpened and am quite happy . I should say i expected to have to sharpen knife . The spine of the knife was machined square and was very Sharpe easy fix just drag it thru the sharpener upside down to round over slightly . I believe what your get from this seller is a extremely good knife after an 1hr of tweaking i would say 180.00 worth of knife for very little money , if u don’t know how to sharpen maybe its not for You , take some time with it and I’m sure you will Love this knife

I’m in college and needed knives, so a $20 knife set it is. The only bad part of this product is the scissors, which are terrible quality. All of the knives work very well and the big one can cut through a butternut squash. I’d say that’s the true test of durability. 10/10 for budget and college students.

and I have used the knives every day. For the price they are incredible. The steak knives have a good feel and they cut well. The paring knives are great and the larger knives do a respectable job of cutting bread and vegetables. If you are looking for something “heavy” in your hand (think Rada) you will be sorely disappointed. But if you need something that will hold up, work well, and look good these are the right answer. Oh, the scissors are junk, they rusted within a month – I threw them out and bought a new pair locally for $4 that I am still using. I didn’t buy the set for the scissors, I wanted a set of knives that matched.

These knives are attractive looking in your kitchen but they are not really sharp. You will have to invest in a sharpener. Also the plastic tip protectors on each knife are so small, you will easily lose them. Would not purchase again.
