My front door is recessed 4â with walls on 3 sides open at the front. The light fixtures are recessed can lights. I was concerned they might stay on all day since thatâs about the least sunlight you could get to an outdoor bulb. But, They even work in those.I will buy more for the rest of my outdoor light fixtures now that I know they work.

No more forgetting to turn on the lights outside
After buying, installing and using a few different motion activated lights on my garage, I was disappointed. The first set ( solar) worked ok for about a year, then both just died. Bought a different set that lasted about 6 months. Decided to try LED dusk to dawn light bulbs in the outdoor garage lights. Ordered these from Amazon and they arrived fast. They are just bulbs, so installation was a breeze. Turned the switch on and since then I have security lights every night without fail. I recommend these bulbs.

These works great Dust til Dawn a perfect for outside pouch lights. I have them I all of my outdoor lighting fixtures. I use them in an indoor lamp especially when I arriving home after dark. Smart choice.

Super britght
Super bright white light! The bulb lights up the walkway and porch. The motion detection seems fine even in a slightly recessed light fixture.

False Advertisement – None of the bulbs did their job
I had never tried this version of bulbs, so I wanted to see if they really worked. To try them out, I installed 2 of them in different locations in the daytime. When I turned the switches on, the bulbs were on. And to give them a chance to work, I just left them on overnight even though it was in the day. The next morning, I went to check both and the lights were STILL on. I was very disappointed that this “Dusk to Dawn” bulb didn’t work because now I have to find something better.

Dawn to dusk motion sensor
Iâve only used one bulb from the pack I purchased. It took a month for it to work correctly. I literally had to touch the sensor to get the light to come on. Since then, it worked fine. Plenty of bright light and it stays on about 1-2 minutes.
