Using in my workshop with dual-row high-density strips. The mounting ears act like heatsinks and I can overdrive the lights up to 30V w/out getting hot. The aluminum is easy to work with but too soft for a carbide chop-saw. Use snips.

Great product but this type of install is difficult
Works well, just know what you’re getting yourself into with this install. You will need massive amounts of drywall mud in order to feather this in. The process is incredibly tedious and if I could do it again, I might not. That’s not the fault of this manufacturer, but rather the nature of the beast when it comes to flush mount installs of any kind. I simply didn’t know what I was getting into with this. It looks great now that it’s done.

The recessed lights were very easy to install. However, the mud-in flange is too damn big. Had to put on almost an eight of mud to conceal it which was not the easiest task. But, it did turn out nicely in the end. And, in highndsight, you definitely want to put some foam or something inside the channel before you mud or you’ll be digging it out of the groves with a razorblade later on. 🙃
