Durable, Easy to Install and Pleasant on the Tootsies (canine and human)
I have a rescue dog that is terrified of stairs, but we’ve learned that if we have these stair tread thingys on she will muster up the courage. When the first set got a little worn after a few years I took them off and she refused to use the stairs again. Bought them again and her courage returned. As an added benefit, they’re nice on human feet too, and are a lot more pleasant than cold stairs during winter.They look nice, are very easy to apply (and remove, if needed) and they last years with heavy traffic and frequent vacuuming.

Cute, Washable Stair Treads
These treads are really nice looking and stick really well. The cool thing is that while they stick well and don’t move when you put them down, they’re also really easy to pull up and adjust if you need to. They do attract pet hair like a magnet though. I found the easiest way to get pet hair off is with a rubber brush – tedious but does work well. Unfortunately, my cat threw up on the steps – so it was a good time to test out if they really were washable. And yes – they are! The sticky part was not affected at all and they came out very clean. They were not totally hairless unfortunately, but they looked a lot better than how they went in – and the hair came off easier once I used the rubber brush after washing. I didn’t dry them – not sure if you can, but they were fairly dry when they came out and I didn’t feel the need. The first picture was taken about a week after they were put on, and the second picture is after washing. Good product!

You Can’t Beat The Price
They stick really well, but don’t leave residue on the wood. They are easy to install: Just use the same bottle of Windex you used to clean the stair to line up one side. Then eyeball the front with the front of stair. (If you want to leave more than 1/2 or so, you may need a ruler and pencil. Depends on your eyeballing skills I guess.) And most important they look good (?) Well, they look descent for sure. I bought them after I slipped and fell down a flight and bruised ribs. They fell fine. It is like a felt material. Also, they vacuum easily. I would imagine stains might be another story.I searched a lot because I did not want to spent a lot of money in a rental. I would highly recommend these.
