2 Separate Lamps Defective
Firstly, this is a beautiful lamp! The brass finish is so pretty and the base is heavy and very secure. I was so excited to add this beautiful piece to my home.However, this lamp is defective. After assembling fully and placing a 15 watt bulb in the socket, I turned the switch on and it made a popping sound, ruined the bulb, and tripped a fuse. I requested a replacement and the seller promptly provided one. The same thing happened with the original lamp I received before requesting a replacement.I had my husband with me to help me assemble the replacement lamp because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Prior to fully assembling, I tested it with a 40 watt A15 bulb compatible with E26 socket, and it worked. After assembling fully, I turned the switch on and â again â it made a popping sound, ruined the bulb, and tripped a fuse. Since the same thing happened with the original lamp I received, maybe this batch is defective. It’s too bad because the lamp is stunning.

Super easy to put together
I love this little floor lamp. Itâs perfect for reading books in my favorite chair and itâs really pretty. Quality is outstanding. This company really cares about providing a great product. Even the packaging is great.

Me gusto la lampara pero viene rayada de la base y un poco de la cubierta, se supone estÃ¡s comprando algo nuevo entonces no entiendo porque no viene con cubiertas para proteger esas partes..!!! Estoy por devolverlaâ¦Ok nueva reseÃ±aâ¦.pedi una segunda lampara por lo comentado anteriormente y por que si me gustÃ³ esta lÃ¡mpara â¦ esta llego en excelentes condiciones, ahora si puedo decir que estoy feliz con la compraâ¦

this floor lamp came in a rectangular box and was very easy to assemble. the upright post is comprised of 3 rods that screw into each other and then into the round weighted base. the gooseneck and shade are together and screwed onto the top of the post. the quality of this lamp is very good and the antique brass finish is not cheap looking.i used an 8W LED bulb that fit into the socket and it gave off a very bright light that is pefect for chairside reading and avoiding eye strain.if you didn’t know, you’d think this floor lamp would have cost more than what it actually was priced at. defnitley a good value. before i got this lamp, i shopped at that popular Swedish megastore, but their similar lamps had thinner metals that made it feel cheap. i’m glad i went with this Amazon purchase instead.

Sturdy construction. Carefully packed to avoid damage or dents.
The floor lamp arrived on time, well packed (double boxed), and was damage-free. It was easy to assemble, and is very sturdy. It has 3 pieces that screw together to provide its height, and these do not wobble. Nice long cord, good weight. The gooseneck works great, enabling me to angle light where I need it. And I’m happy with the matte black color. Overall this is a great lamp for a very reasonable price.

Great reading and crafting lamp!
I purchased one of these floor lamps and it worked so well, I bought 2 more! I use a 40 LED bulb (low heat) and it is plenty bright and the gooseneck lets me adjust where I need the light most. The base is weighted and it was easy to put together! I highly recommend this stylish light!

Really sturdy and nice. Works fine for my office desk. I deducted one star because it would be so much better if it was 10 inches taller so the light came down on the desk rather than sideways, and had a pull on/off switch.

Old time pharmacy lamp
Love this lamp. Reminds me of old time pharmacy lamps. Gives out a great amount of light while taking up almost no space. Neck moves all over. Easy turn on. I got black.
