Great Pattern for Office
I really like the style this mat brings to my office space. I initially tried using this over low pile carpet, but it moved too much for me (also it specifically is intended for hardwood floors). I ended up getting a clear carpet protector and then put this over the top of the carpet protector giving it a nicer look and feel, especially when barefoot. Overall very pleased with this mat.

Works well as a rug but not for my office chair
The DeMissir Office Chair Mat for Hardwood Floor 36″X48″X0.24″ is a good size as a rug, and it doesn’t shift on my hardwood floor. However, it arrived folded in quarters – and even though it’s been laying out for six weeks – the folds are still catching the wheels of my office chair. If they had sent it rolled up, maybe this wouldn’t have been a problem – but it’s not very functional with the folds interfering with my chair’s movement. It works well as a rug, but not as an office chair rug.

Color is way off
Color is actually bright blue and pink, itâs way brighter in person vs this photo. Not what I was looking for but it will due til I find something elseâ¦. Material is light weight and very soft, more like a thin rug. Desk chair glides just fine and will protect our wood floor for now. Color is disappointing.

Nice Rug
I just wanted something for under my Office chair, i was surprised at how nice it was. I thought it was going to just be cheap & thin. My office chair is rolling perfectly and not getting caught in the rug. I’m going to buy a 2nd one for when we have company, and it’ll hopefully stay nice & clean.

Nice chair mat for hardwood and tile floors
I picked this up to use at the computer station in my home electronics lab as we have hardwood floors and the wheels on my big leather executive chair were starting to damage the floors.Previously I was using one of those hard plastic chair mats but had to stop using it because it was damaging the floor more than the wheels on the chair were, And to be honest I didn’t know they actually made dedicated chair mats for hardwood and tile floors.With the hard mats no matter how hard you try debris and hair still manages to find its way under the mat and ends up getting ground into the wood floor damaging it anyways, this is further complicated at our house because we have 4 German shepherds, or as we like to call them German shedders Who lose enough hair daily to build a whole new dog with, So just about every other day I’d need to lift the plastic mat to vacuum underneath it which was a royal pain.This carpet style chair mat solve all those problem, it has a non-slip surface on the bottom which not only prevents it from sliding around but also effectively prevents dog hair and debris from getting under the mat and the none slip makes vacuuming it a breezeThis mat also has heavier basing around the edges than similar mats I’ve looked at. Basing is basically just stitching or hemming around the edges to prevent it from unraveling..This heavier basing protects the edges of the mat and makes it easier for the chair to roll onto or off of the mat without the mat bunching up or curling.Over all the mat works great at preventing the dreaded wild chair runaway which is probably one of the most annoying aspects of using a rolling office chair on hardwood floors…Seems like every time I get out of my chair it goes flying in the opposite direction banging into something, or when you sit down you end up rolling a foot or two and since I’m using this in an office/lab this can be kind of scary especially when the chair bangs into very expensive lab equipment.The only issue I had was that it came folded up into a nice tight one foot square package which required unfolding and laying it out in the living room for a couple days to flatten out, unfortunately this still didn’t eliminate all the creases so my wife was kind enough to iron it for me.As other reviewers have noted the pattern is a printed and not a stitched pattern which probably means that left in the sun long enough it may fade but something tells me the pattern will outlive the abuse it will suffer as a chair mat.
