No weird smell coming from it.The design is beautiful and very detailed, about the quality you would expect from a sub $40 small rug.Came in super folded up, the fold marks are noticeable but don’t interfere with the chair rolling around on it, hopefully they smooth out over time.Hopefully the sticky backing won’t leave black skid marks on the floor or anything over time or flake off.Overall, I’m very happy with the rug, I love looking at it when I enter the room now!The design on it makes me feel like I’m sitting on a flying magic carpet!

I love the look and feel of this chair mat. I would have given it five stars but it does move a little bit on the floor and I have laminate so I need it to be still. It does stay pretty well in place the majority of the time and I really like it.
