Will be looking for a different rug
This rug could work in some locations. It is not good for areas that are high traffic, or places where pets or children spend any amount of time. It is very challenging to vacuum or clean this rug. The shag is longer than I anticipated, and the pad underneath is thicker around the edges than in the middle.That said, it is a very nice looking rug, and very comfy. It just wasn’t what I was expecting from the description, and it won’t work in the area. I was planning to place it.

Does not last – Updated Review
I ordered 2 of these rugs and at first they were very nice and so soft but after a year they are definitelyfar from their original appearance. The nice thing is that you can wash them in the washer which was a huge plus but be aware that they do get matted. Vacuuming has become very complicated as the top and bottom of the carpet are separated and get caught in the vacuum and pull the rug. I would not recommend this rug to anyone unless it is out in a very low traffic area.Update: I was contacted by the vendor and They went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. With this type of customer service we would be willing to try more of their products.

SUPER SOFT
At first I was concerned as the packaging were small boxes for the size of area rugs, but then upon opening saw it was vacuum sealed! Love the color of both the 4×6 and 2×3 area rug (true to description) Both are very soft and feel great barefoot!!! I can see why some rate it as not being for high traffic area as it is very thin. I had to take off 1 star because it does have a VERY strange and pungent chemical odor…probably because of the vacuum seal??? Aside from the odor (which i hope goes away after a day or two) it is as advertised. I see no curling on edges, quality seems good…on the 4×6 i wish i had ordered bigger as it seems a bit small (but does measure accurately). Overall satisfied with purchase and would recommend for a NON HIGH TRAFFIC area.

Great purchase! Love this blue shag rug!
This rug looks great in my living room! The padding is thinner than I expected but the shag is great under my feet! I have all tile in my house but I like carpet under my feet in the living room. It took a few days to “shape up” because it comes tightly packed. It is amazing after a few days, though. It is very soft and pretty. The color matched the Amazon pics. I love this rug!

I absolutely love this rug! The softness is incredible â itâs like stepping onto a cloud, and the high-density sponge layer makes it even more comfortable. The non-slip bottom works perfectly, keeping it securely in place, even in high-traffic areas.Itâs great for barefoot walking too. Not good for high traffic area
We love the rug. You get what you pay for. Got the 9×12 dark gray for our livingroom. We have 3 small kids, 2 cats. As great and comfy as it is, it is not good for high traffic/use. It is NOT easily cleaned, I have tried 3 different vacuums. The shag is wearing down after a few months, and there are puffs of the shag everywhere.

A Fantastic Addition to Any Room!
I recently bought the Ophanie Area Rugs 9×12 Living Room, Large Tie-Dyed Grey & White Bedroom Carpet, Big Shag from Amazon, and I am absolutely loving it! The softness is amazing on the feetâlike walking on a cloud. The color scheme is perfect and matches a wide range of decors, making it a versatile choice for any room.One of my main concerns was vacuuming, but so far, so good. The rug holds its own, and I haven’t noticed any fibers being pulled out. Sooo soft and fluffy
Soft, fluffy, colorful, less toxins, washable and an amazing price. Really? Buy it! The pad itself is sturdy too. The only thing, maybe let it air dry after machinr wash because the rug does loose that- fluffy softness if you wash it incorrectly or dry it on high heat.
