My husband bought this and installed it for my Mom. He programmed it to come on at 4:30 pm, and get go off at 7:00 am. He also slightly turned the sensor so it will see cars or foot traffic entering her driveway. After it is dark the light comes on dim. Any motion sets off the brightness. It is bright! She loves it and now wants one for her back door.

Great seller!
First off, I don’t normally write many reviews. But felt inclined to do so after my purchase. Item appears to be as advertised. Have not installed yet. But seller has already contacted me through messaging, to ensure I have the best experience with installation and usage. The light appears to be solid and well made. Detailed instructions were emailed to me as well. Can’t speak to longevity of the device as of yet. But the seller clearly stands behind their product. A written guarantee of 60 days was given instead of the standard 30 day return policy. And As of now, I would recommend this light. To someone who may be on the fence about making the purchase, I can say that this company cares and stands behind their product. So definitely give it a try. I will update in the event that my experience changes. As of now, I’m satisfied with my purchase. I’m happy to support this brand. Many thanks to Sophia from Orein!Update: As of 9-9-24 the light has been installed. Everything seems to work as advertised. Along with the ability to change the color of the light from warm to cool. The sensor can pick up someone walking from my driveway. Which is about 20 ft. from the door. I top mounted mine. Most will probably install vertically, but it will work either way. The only thing to watch for is your wire management. Make sure your wires have enough clearance when mounting, and aren’t being pressed too tightly against the mounting plate. Had to be mindful of the ground screw in my installation. Theres only a very small gap between the mounting plate and the box. Otherwise, all is well!

Nice Light
It gives off a lot of light. You can adjust how long it stays on. Motion sensor work perfectly.

Really bright but one major flaw
The lights are really bright and do a great job of covering a large area, but depending on how the motion sensor is positioned, the light goes into failure mode and simply blinks off & on. If the sensor is positioned too close to the light itself, e.g. the light angled down but the sensor straight ahead, the daylight sensor for the Dusk to Dawn function is blinded by the fixture itself and the controls interpret that as an external interfering light source that puts the unit into a blinking failure mode. I simply couldn’t us them in my application. Too bad because the lights themselves are stylish, it’s great to have the option of 3 temperature settings and the sensor range is nice and wide.

Quality is good for the money. Sensors work good a bit chalenging on installation because of short wire. I like the look. It is simple and modern.

Good form factor, great sensor
Updated 12/11/24: I just want to reiterate just how good the sensor is on this light. It is the most effective light sensor I have ever seen. It can detect me from about 30 feet away and sometimes much further. Not a lot of false alarms, either.Depending on your house style, this light might be a good alternative to the common outdoor spotlight design. This light is basically a white rectangle that lights up. The amount of light is as good as some of the stronger lights I have used, the only drawback is that it is a single light that shines in one direction, versus other lights with 2 or 3 arms that can be directed. Other than that, though, this light has a couple of advantages. One is that it has the best motion sensor I have ever seen. It turns on at twice the distance as just about all the other lights I have owned, and I don’t even have it at full sensitivity (afraid it would trip to easily from wind or critters). The other nice feature is the app. This is the first outdoor spotlight I have been able to control through an app and I really like it. You can schedule it, control how long the light stays on, change the light temperature and brightness. You can’t adjust sensitivity or lux, but it’s nice to be able to control what it can from my phone. Please note, however, it is a bluetooth connection so you have to be within range.One thing to be aware of is the housing is square, which creates a watertight seal if the junction box is embedded in the wall (allowing for a flush mount). I have my round junction box mounted on the surface, so it doesn’t match, but it is under an eave and we don’t get much rain.Overall it is a nice, bright light that has great sensitivity and may fit in better aesthetically with some house designs.
