Attractive, functional, sturdy storage ottoman
I love this ottoman. I bought the burgundy-red version on sale for $21 at the time. You wouldn’t want to use it to stand on, but as a hassock to put your feet up on, it’s great. A not-too-heavy person could sit on it. It’s foldable so it could be stored in a closet when not in use. If you have kids and/or pets who are “rough” on furniture, well, I suppose the vinyl could get little tears in it, but with normal use, I expect it to last a long time.

this storage ottoman is perfect, it is not the most sturdiest, but it is mighty for the cost. I am using it mainly as a footrest in my bedroom and it works well. I have placed books and crocheting supplies in it and there is adequate storage space. It is basically a cube (folds with cardboard bottom that can be removed) with a cushion top. It is ideal! love the purple color, too!

I love this little foot ottoman, itâs a great little size and very sturdy. I was very impressed with the quality and how much it does really hold for being the size it is. I am 145 pounds and I even stood on it with no issues, maybe looking into getting another one.

Low expectations proven wrong
I had low expectations for this stool/storage piece, but I was pleasantly surprised. The dark reddish color is subdued enough not to clash with almost any other color. If you don’t examine it too closely, it could very well be made of leather. It didn’t really need assembly, you just push down the inside of the box and it kind of assembles itself. The size is just right to use for a stool to prop your feet up, and it’s stuffed with something that makes it reasonably soft on top – but flat, nonetheless, so you could sit a tray on it (or your laptop, as I do) without tilting. It’s very sturdy and will easily tolerate something heavy (my feet!) on top. The interior is roomy and lined with fabric. Some of the models lack the little sleeve on the outside, so you should take note of this if you want the sleeve. I’ve found it useful to keep paper and pens. I keep current bills, checkbook, stamps, etc. inside the box and use it as a kind of mini-desk for things that need immediate attention. This one was so nice that I immediately ordered a second one to hold my small Christmas tree. Since the tree was disassembled after the holiday, I stored the ornaments inside the box where they’ll be safe until next year. A really good buy!

Not Genuine Leather
This is a nice little storage ottoman but it is NOT real leather. It is faux leather. First clue something is not genuine leather is the price. Something this size in 100% leather would cost way more. Second clue is the way it feels to the touch. This ottoman does not feel like good leather. It also does not look like real leather. Consider this if leather quality is important to you. That said, it does look nice and is pleasantly better than expected.
