This KiwiLusam motion outdoor ceiling light with remote was a lot nicer than I expected! It has all the bells and whistles and the fixture is solid and sturdy. Very easy to install…I did it myself!!! That in itself is a miracle for me but when I unboxed it and saw how easy it would be to install I went for it. I did have my sister hand it up to me once I got the mounting plate up.We got this for my sister as her husband has just passed and she is now alone most of the time. You can adjust the light to stay on up to 10 minutes which gives her plenty of time to exit the car, come up the steps and unlock the door. As it was she would fumble around with her phone flashlight to try to light her way as about 70% of the time she would forget to turn on the porch light when she left.It came packed securely as to insure none of the glass was broken. It was surrounded by foam and even the interior of the glass was filled with foam.Just a heads up I couldn’t find the remote at first and they have it slid in behind the mounting plate on the top of the light. So it will be easy to miss and drop if you are not aware of that.The sensor is perfect in that it does not pick up the neighborhood cats but the minute we pull up it sends light out to the driveway.The $69.99 price point is a really good price for this light. I think it is totally worth it! At least in my opinion….and I am a penny pincher. lol100% satisfied and would give it more stars if I could!Thank you for taking your time to read this. Esta lámpara la verdad es que ha sido una de las mejores decisiones que he tomado en cuanto a iluminación y estética se refiere. La instalación es bastante sencilla, aunque puede que tengas que hacer un pequeño agujero en el techo (lo que es bastante típico para muchos casos), pero valió totalmente la pena. Queda perfectamente integrada y le dan un toque moderno a la fachada.Tiene 4 modos de iluminación, lo que permite adaptarla a diferentes situaciones. Como encendido “atardecer a amanecer”, o también, sensor de movimiento, o el típico, encendido o apagado.Te incluye un control remoto que es otra de las características que más uso. Porque con él puedes ajustar el brillo además de encender o apagar. Son increíblemente prácticas. Además, utiliza dos bombillas que permite una iluminación uniforme y potente. Muy recomendada.-La mayoría de las veces, antes de hacer una adquisición, la hago luego de leer los comentarios y experiencias de otros usuarios, por lo que espero haberte podido ser útil con el mío para tu toma de decisión; sin embargo, toma en consideración que mi experiencia puede diferir a la experiencia de otros y dependerá finalmente de tus expectativas y del uso que le vayas a dar.

I love the looks of this light. And the remote with options of manual on/off, Dawn to dusk, motion detector, or auto with light dusk to dawn and lights coming on at 40% brightness with the motion detector bringing the light to 100% and going back to dim after 2 minutes of non-movement, is really an upgrade from what I had perviously.However the mounting screws on the ceiling plate are so short, it needs to be installed on the surface of the ceiling or you can’t get the base of the light to fit up over the screws. So if you have a recessed opening or a soffit cover, that doesn’t fit flat to the ceiling, such as grooved vinyl, you will have to figure out a different way to mount the base to the ceiling plate. We had to use standoffs to move the plate down so it was flush with the raised surface of the porch soffit.

We’re using this as an outdoor light under a covered porch right below the front door. There was an older existing light with an old metal junction box that we were able to use for installation. All needed hardware was included. I would suggest only using LED bulbs as there doesn’t appear to be any heat shielding; stay within the limits if using a high heat bulb. The remote control has a lot of features, but I just really wanted a light to turn on with a switch. For the price and size we are very happy.

Stylish outdoor light fixture will be perfect for our back porch. The motion sensor is particularly convenient when your hands are full and you are coming home at night. The remote is a nice touch, but I don’t see us using that very much at all. The construction seems solid and it was packaged well.
