This hurts my feet!
I love that it’s non-slip, but I can’t stand this thing! The bottom of my feet hurt so much, I find myself stepping off it more than standing on it. Unless you plan on laying a rug or thick towel)s) over it, i would not recommend this item.

nice and smooth
We shall see how this wood mat ages. I’m hoping for no mildew nor staining. So far, it seems to be non-slip on tumbled marble surface, on which most mats will not stick.

Slips too much for seniors
I really like the look of the mat. It has a lot of pluses: attractive, less likely to mildew, and it can be easily rolled up and out of the way with not a lot of mess.However, we have tried it in our large walk-in shower for two months and we still are surprised with unexpected slipping. Probably not a big deal for stable people, but for seniors with balance issues, it is insecure and we will stop using it. Too late for a return but I will pass it on.

Not a bad option, but might not be for everyone
This is an interesting shower mat. I don’t think it’s really designed to be as comfortable as a traditional shower mat. I believe it would be better served as slip protection in a locker room, outside a sauna or hot tub, next to the steps in a pool area, etc. It does not STICK to the tub floor like the kind with suction cups, and can be moved around with your feet if you want to reposition it, but it’s very easy to clean, seems very well made, and it’s a lot better than a slippery tub floor with no mat at all. It’s not the most comfortable to stand on for longer periods of time. However, it does provide great slip protection when getting in and out of the shower tub. I like the strips of rubber grip this has on the bottom, instead of the suction cups that collect water and cause stains that have to be cleaned quite frequently. Overall I’m pretty pleased, but the plastic feeling strips this is made of might not be for everyone.

Shower mat
I needed something to stand on when getting out of the shower and this is perfect it keeps your feet from standing in water and the mat doesnât hold water and dries of quick! I bought the tan one and it goes perfect with my travertine tile. Also the slats are spaced slightly apart and are comfortable on the feet. I read one review that said it was hard on the feet but neither I or my husband find that to be a problem. I would buy again!

Little hard on feet
I like it for stability and don’t mind that it is a little like a reflexology treatment on my feet. My wife finds it too uncomfortable to stand on. Iâm losing this battle and looking for something else. Fits good, rolls up easily and cleans up nice.

Nice
Itâs nice. One of my showers is older and this covers the floor, looks nice and has a rubber backing. Iâm not sure this would be great for someone elderly getting in and out though. In that case I would go with something that has suction cups underneath. This does not but it stays in place okay, not foolproof though.

Durable and Useful
I initially used this in a shower tent that was used long-term during a remodel. It has proven to be very durable. It was great for ensuring that there was a surface with good traction to stand on that drained well and did not trap water. It has since transitioned to being used under the dog’s water bowl for the same reasons. It’s a great product!
