Easy to put together. Allow about 45 minutes. Came free from defect and well packed. The unit is true to size and larger than most tables. It is sturdy, can blend with many different decorating styles, contemporary, modern farm house, traditional. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, there is no give when it comes to metal, so when the holes don’t line up for the screws, there is not much you can do. I tried every method possible (changing the sequence I screwed them in, screwing everything just enough to get a bite, etc), but still end up with roughly half of the screw holes off enough where they can only be screwed 50-75% of the way without risking a complete strip of the screw. Thankfully I’m not using it for anything that’s heavy, so I’m not super concerned about how weight bearing it is.
