Durable and great product
This pet door really helps keep the cold weather out on a windy day. My two dogs a rottweiler and a cairn terrier both love having the freedom to go in or out.I like the feature that I can put in the door slides keeping them in the house or outside.

Not Enough to go Around
The amount of foam you get isn’t enought to go all the way around the dog door perimeter, and there is no removing the foam once it’s been placed as it’s so sticky the foam just rips apart in chunks. Great otherwise, just plan ahead.

Says universal but check the size of your door
Great product but for a universal kit it seems it would be a better fit for a smaller door. There was not enough weather seal for my large door

** A MUST BUY TO INSTALL YOUR HIGH QUALITY DOGGIE DOOR EFFICIENTLY !! ** (Weather-Proofing)
All I needed from this kit was the drill bit for the holes to drill thru the door to attach both sides of the doggie door. (**HINT: When drilling with this bit, swivel the bit and make the hole extra large on both sides so that you have plenty of movement in order to attach all 8 bolts (4 on each side) without having to attach 5 or 6 of them and then have to take them all off just to drill the other 2 or 3 holes bigger to make them line up – like I had to. And in addition to the drill bit all I needed was the clear silicone caulk which I used on both the outside and the inside of the doors just to make sure they were both air and water-proof tight. I actually used the double sided smaller tape and the bottom of my front door – in between the lower door seal so when the front door was shut – you could not see any sunlight coming thru – also saving me on my energy bills!!
