One screw bit wouldn’t fit into the drilled hole hence 4 star rating, but it wasn’t enough to affect the look, sturdiness of the bench/rack. I like that it comes with all the tools needed, easy assembly. I can sit on it to put shoes on/off (135lb) , which is why it was purchased. Great price and good size for my small space

Excellent quality and value with easy assembly
I have extensive experience with ready-to-assemble flat-pack furniture, and I wish all pieces were as consistent and simple as this one. The packaging was efficient and well-designed to insure all parts arrived safe. There are 28 bolts required to put it together, and every bolt and nut had one spare in the bag. It all went together easily with no confusion or fuss and was level on the floor without having to make any adjustments. It’s lightweight but still sturdy.Fair warning, the listed 27.5″ model has photos showing three pairs of shoes on each shelf. It’ll fit that with smaller kid-sized shoes, but adult shoes will only fit two pairs per shelf. There are a couple photos showing two benches, and the 27.5″ is the smaller one. I’d buy a 32″-35″ model for more space if it were made available.

Solid piece
I bought it to serve as a bench outside my apt door. It is quite sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a narrow profile, which is great so smaller spaces. I liked it so much, I bought a second one in a different color for inside the apt.UPDATE: The second one was a bit more difficult to assemble, as some of the bolt holes for the shelves did not completely align. Tip: put a bolt in each hole before tightening anything, and you won’t have to go back and forth losening & tightening like I did.

This was the perfect fit for the cubby space I had near the door. I wanted something sturdy so my husband could sit and put his shoes on. It says it can hold up to 300 pounds and it seems to be true. It looks great and was very easy to assemble. I did it all by myself and it didnât take long.

Great Shoe Rack!
This is a very sturdy, nice looking shoe rack. It came with a zillion screws, etc. but it was very easy to assemble – did it myself in 20 minutes. Itâs nicely engineered so all the parts fit perfectly.

Sturdy, Stylish and very impressed by the quality for the price.
10 Stars! It lives up to the claim that it can support 300lbs. It is probably one of my top 3 guys of this year. It matches my furniture. It’s the perfect size to be both out of the way and space saving while providing both the function of a shoe rack and a place to put shoes on and take them off. My carpet is grateful. It is a very good looking shoe bench. I would imagine if I was at a furniture store it would have been very minimum $70 for a floor model. More for one assembled and new. Easy to put together. Absolute gem! If I needed another I’d buybit in a heartbeat. I bought 2 cheaper shoe racks for my patio garden with no bench and they MIGHT support 5-6 lbs each. Including both shelves. So I’m keeping one and sending back the other… just to grow some herbs on top and keep my Lil patio garden tools I use on the bottom. Each cost about $10 less than this one. In contrast this is another huge reason im so impressed with my very handsome shoe bench! You need it.

Perfect bag storage for small mudroom area
Just what we needed in our small mudroom area that is off our garage entrance. My daughter always dumped her big swim bag on the floor of our kitchen area after practice making the area look like a big piled up mess. Now she has a spot to leave her swim bag and her school back pack when she comes in the house where no one can see them and theyâre not cluttering our floors. We also have a nice, accessible place to store the dog food, and some shoes. Our mudroom is small, so I was happy to find this size bench to fit perfectly in our space.It was easy to put together, but I had a hard time getting the very last screw to go all the way in. I finally gave up, but the legs and shelves were sturdy enough to leave it as it was. I faced that side of the bench towards the wall so you canât see that screw sticking out.The bench didnât sit completely flush on the floor, so I put a rubber mat under it and itâs fine.Overall, Iâm quite pleased with the look and functionality of it; the ease of putting it together; and the affordability.
