Excellent chair mat
I have used several different mats for under my office chair and under my kids gaming chair. This mat holds up. It looks nice and it protects my floor. I like that you peel the back off so it stays on the floor. But if you lift it up, it does not leave a residue. It’s durable against my kid and his friends. It has yet to roll or curl at the edges. It’s easy to vaccum and stays down.

Exactly what I expected!
This chair mat is great! It’s thin, unobtrusive, and has a non-slip âStickyâ back. This backing isn’t adhesive, just a naturally âstickyâ sort-of 3M material. However, this backing DOES pick up dust, lint, dirt, and plenty of other things, so be sure to clean the floor before placing it down! However, if it does get dirty, soap and water should make it like new :)It comes rolled up, so you might need to weigh down the edges until they lie flat on their own.It’s not a replacement for an actual rug, but if you need something inexpensive for a hard floor, this should do it! Might also make a decent material to place under a rug as well, if you’re looking for extra protection from sharp chairs or spills.

It’s Perfect
We recently got rid off carpet and installed hardwood flooring. We have 5 computer desks with chairs between the kids and adults working from home and so had the chair mats for carpet. With the hardwood flooring I was looking for mat that is meant for hardwood flooring, doesn’t slip and also adds a bit of friction to the chair wheels so it doesn’t slide backwards when I try to sit on it.I ordered 6 of these in pairs of 2. Firstly it was quite fairly priced. It met all my requirements stated above just fine and the size was perfect allowing bit of room for the chair to move around. Also, it just sticks to the floor without actually being glued. It can be easily lifted and adjusted and put somewere else which is a great plus.Some of the reviewers have mentioned that the mat slips. Seems like they didn’t remove the plastic which is labelled to be removed before use.All in all a good purchase and recommend it.

Bought this 2 pack chair mat set to put under my office chair in our basement that only has a concrete floor. I was worried they might slide around because the floor isn’t completely level but they’ve stayed in place nicely for the couple of weeks I’ve had them down. I couldn’t decide, at first, whether it would be better with them or without them since the casters on my chair roll so easily on the concrete whereas the mats add a bit of hold but it makes the sound of the rolling casters silent and the bit of hold is actually nice …. Anyway, they seem to work great. They’re very thin which I don’t mind as they allow the casters to roll well.I’m using both mats to make one larger mat and if they had offered one mat the size of two that would have been ideal for my situation as I’m using a fairly wide desk and I wanted to have a bit of fabric under my feet as well as under the chair but the two-pack works. You just see the rounded corners where they meet. Not a big deal especially since this is a basement office.I haven’t tried cleaning them yet and am curious about how difficult that might be given the fibers. They’re kind of like a very fine, smoother version of a door mat which sometimes holds onto dirt like velcro. But they’re so thin and the fibers are so fine I don’t expect it to be a problem. I’ll update if it turns out to be difficult.Oh, and some people have complained about creases and folds but mine came rolled and had none of those problems.Overall, they work well for my purpose.

Ich habe mir die Matte gekauft, da mir die Plastikunterlage von IKEA immer zu laut beim Rollen war und sie leicht verrutscht ist (musste eine Anti-Rutsch-Unterlage drunterlegen). Die Plastikunterlagen werden auch schnell unschön, weil Flusen ins Plastik “eingearbeitet” werden.Auf Empfehlung eines Bekannten habe ich mir nun die Placoot Bodenschutzmatte bestellt. Sie macht beim Auspacken einen sehr stabilen Eindruck, die Folie lässt sich leicht entfernen und die Matte hält auf dem Laminatboden sofort (klebt aber nicht, sodass man sie auch nochmal korrigieren kann – ähnlich wie z.B. Handyfolien). Bei mir haben sich nicht mal die Ecken gebogen, obwohl die Matte aufgerollt geliefert wurde. Spricht für eine gute Qualität. Ãber die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber für den günstigen Preis kann man auch alle paar Jahre mal eine neue bestellen. Dazu sieht die Matte auch sehr schön aus, gerade wenn man z.B. ein graues Sofa, ein graues Bett o.ä. im Zimmer hat. Und die Matte ist gerade jetzt im Winter auch FuÃwarm, mehr als diese Plastikmatten.Daher 5/5 Sterne!
