This floating shelf had the potential to be great, but unfortunately it came down to the lesser quality of the material used. I had expected true solid wood.I still really like the overall aesthetic and uniqueness! This is also great at saving tons of space. This is on the pricey end imo, however, the floating aspect works really well with my space.

This floating desk/storage is best for open space. Setting it up wasn’t difficult, but you’ll need another person to help you every now and then to carry/hold the parts during the assembly process. The wood pieces are made from plywood, so I recommend hand tightening the screws vs. using a hand drill since this will damage the wood ( I tired taking a shortcut by using a hand drill and maybe I used too much force, but there were some parts that were damaged). Another tip is to make sure you’re mounting to a stud and not just drywall, to support the weight of the shelf and items you plan to stowaway on this shelf. Also, I know the description says this floating shelf can hold up to 100 lbs., but I’ve only used mine to hold drinks, some small books and remote controller. Overall, it’s not a bad product, and it works as intended, but for the price point, I just don’t know if it’s worth it.

Good quality, easy to put together and install I did it by myself, hanging it on the wall was not that easy by myself but doable. For a small space great storage desk unit!
