POLY & BARK Napa Leather Couch – Right-Facing Sectional Leather Sofa – Tufted Back Full Grain Leather Couch with Feather-Down Topper On Seating Surfaces – Pure-Aniline Italian Leather – Cognac Tan

Looks fantastic, easy to assemble, and very comfortable so far.
I was back and forth between this sofa and another brand at another retailer that used spring-loaded sofa cushions. They both have solid wood frames and leather everywhere (both VERY important for longevity) and was leaning a bit towards the spring-loaded sofa cushions based on some of the reviews for this sofa indicating the cushions had gone flat fairly quickly.What changed my mind to this sofa was recognizing that I can have the cushions re-stuffed with higher quality foam relatively inexpensively if/when they break down vs having springs eventually poke through the leather of a cushion. The fact the chase/sofa went on sale for under $2k for the first time in my watching it for over two years created the ‘right now’ buying decision.Assembly was simply a matter of screwing the legs in (and make sure to differentiate the corner legs from the center legs – they are different lengths) and attaching the two pieces together with the pre-attached clasps. The leather looks fantastic and I fully expect this to last as long as our current leather sofa, which we’ve had for about 25 years. Another thing I like about this sofa that led to the demise of our current leather sofa is it had the back cushions stitched to the sofa, so there was no back to the cushion. As the stitching eventually (with pets and kids) tore away, the cushions according to three different furniture repair people in the area couldn’t be reattached easily or affordably. This sofa having fully removable back and seat cushions is a benefit. The final selling point about this style was that is sits about five inches off the ground, allowing our little robot vacuum to clean underneath it.I’ve included one pic showing the zippered ‘container’ on the bottom of one sofa where the legs are stored for transport, which I thought was pretty creative. I also tried to grab an image of the wood exposed where the legs screw in, but it appears to be to washed out for detail; it should show the all-wood (rather than ‘manufactured wood’) construction providing better strength and resilience.***Four month update and pics – the sofa is doing fantastic. It’s used by our dogs (weights between 60 lb – 130 lb, because anything under 50 lb is a cat) much more than us: it’s a springboard, a wrestling mat, a lounging appliance and a sleeper. To be fair, we have had a cover on the sofa since we purchased it (off today for a washing), but it still looks new. A few feathers are starting to escape, which isn’t a surprise. Beautiful – perfect!
After months of searching, deliberating, measuring, and going through the entire Internet, I am so glad I finally got this couch. It was one of the first ones I saw and I wish I had ceased my search there. The quality is top-notch, it is top grain leather; comfy, spacious, well built, and looks perfect. It is a premium product at a very reasonable price. I was hesitant it might be cold for the colder months but that’s not the case. The color is just as advertised and very versatile. I am a fan of Poly & Bark for life.

Very Pleased So Far
I was VERY nervous about buying a relatively expensive couch online without being able to sit on it and test it out – of course my first choice would be to go to a local store and find something there first. However, I recently purchased my first home and when it came time to furnishing, I ran into the same problem that many others are experiencing right now – low to no inventory and long delays! I found the Napa Chaise Sectional during one of my many furniture searches and fell in love. I did extensive research through Poly and Bark’s social media and BBB page to make sure they were legit and bit the bullet and I’m so happy I did! First of all it’s super easy to put together; it comes in two pieces with the legs and cushions unattached – but the box is a major pain in the butt to get rid of (obviously it needs to be a very heavy duty box to protect the couch, which it successfully did, but just know that you’ll probably need access to a dumpster to totally dispose of it in a timely manner). Wow this couch is stunning in person. The cognac color is exactly as pictured, of course with some variation as it’s real top-grain leather. The leather is super smooth and buttery but it also feels incredibly durable. I have a 35 lb dog that I allow up on the furniture and while I have half of the couch covered with a blanket, of course he prefers the uncovered side – he has superficially scuffed up the leather here and there but it doesn’t bother me at all, it just kind of goes with the look in my opinion. The couch is super comfortable and long (to be fair I’m only 5’1” ha). I love stretching out on the chaise. I can’t speak to durability as I’ve only had this couch for a few weeks but I will absolutely update this review after I’ve really broken the couch in.
