First, Install the adjustable plates, according to the size of your windows, to fit your window snugly. The vent set come with screws to keep the window kit in place.
Step 1:
Put the screws into the holes in the plates
Step 2:
Install the screws, but do not secure it tightly
Step 3:
Insert another inner plate to the outer plate
Step 4:
Adjust to proper length and tighten the screws
Next, attach the hose adapter when venting the portable air conditioner.
Step 5:
Install the kit into the window and adjust the height to secure the kit in place
Step 6:
Connect the hose adaptor with the exhaust pipe and rotate tightly
Step 7:
With your A/C Filter properly installed and vented, you can start cooling immediately.
Step 8:
Come with sealing tape to prevent the gap.

Perfect fit
This was easy to assemble and works perfectly for our unit. There does need to be a screen to place over the hose opening leading to the outside to keep bugs and critters out. We live in an older rental house with old, single pane windows that the screens have disappeared so i had to improvise,but other than that I would buy this again.

It was too small to fit into my AC despite listing the same size. It was a little small so I was able to just duct tape it in place. The window panels worked perfectly for my 60″ window with a horizontal slider though!

This thing is absolute junk. Not only was it delayed with no estimated shipping date, but it didnât easily install because the length of the pieces it gives you are either too long or too short. Doesnât get held into window with any support so hose constantly rips out of window frame and on top of that it doesnât come with a coupler which is sold separately. Never went out of my way to write a review but this seriously made me mad.

I used this to install an AC in my patio door as I do not have a window that opens in my apartment unit. I was able to get it set up by myself within 10-15 minutes. The only downside is that the double-sided adhesive provided does not stick well to the window seal.
