This drill guide is in my opinion the best drill guide anywhere. I have owned another another upscale drill guide, but not comparable to this. I needed a chuck that would hold up to a 1/2” drill bit (only one other manufacture offers this size chuck). It is well made, all aluminum parts with a still chuck. The extra accessories that come with it, the adjustable rail attachments are a neat feature. This type of tool is ideal for workshops that don’t have room for a drill press. WIth this tool one can drill perpendicular holes on a vertical service. The knurled handles are excellent. The aesthetic look anodized color scheme is pleasant. A very good tool and price.

The shaft to connect to the drill is completely circular, not hex. How does it even grip? Stupid design, do not buy.
