Great alternative for a fixed spindle sander if you don’t have one. I use it exclusively for wood and it provides a lot of versatility on larger pieces. Even though I have a bench top spindle sander in my shop, I find myself using this more and more due to the convenience. Well worth the retail price on Amazon.

So I have a post and railing walkway in the garden made from the forest trees near our home. After getting everything built, I needed to smooth and sand areas that s regular sander can’t reach because I left parts of the tree branches (the parts not cut off but left on for natural looking rails and posts) for an “interesting look”. Anyway… These sanders are easy to use and very affective for my purposes. VeryGood!
