great product and value…but all carpet treads we have found requires heavy duty carpet glue and stapling to ensure it does not come off (especially around the nose part of the stairs)…and espsecially whey you have pets and kids running around…great product otherwise

Safe stairs for an elderly cat/woman
I purchased these carpeted stair treads after seeing my motherâs elderly cat slip on her wood stairs. A fall would be a devastating injury at his age so I started searching for a solution. These stair treads were the solution. Now he can go up and down the stairs with confidence as he can dig his claws in to help with stability. As a bonus, my mother also feels more secure going up and down the stairs.In terms of installation, it doesnât get much easier. I vacuumed the stairs and then wiped them down to remove any remaining debris. I laid them all out first to assure they were even and used a piece of painterâs tape to mark where to put them down once I peeled off the plastic backing. It was no problem peeling the plastic backing off and laying them back down on the stairs. I would say it took about 30 minutes to complete the process and the cat tried them out within minutes.My motherâs only comment is they do hold onto pet hair so they need to be cleaned with a sticky roller to remove that buildup. Even with that drawback, they are still a 5/5 due to appearance, ease of installation, and the instant improved footing on the stairs. Highly recommend.

I really liked the look of these treads. I did put some pressure on them to make sure they stick and so far so good! They have not budged. They were not expensive and definitely worth it!

Good quality non slip stair protectors
We got these stair protectors for our cabin to prevent damage from ski boots. They stay in place and work well, though I find the color darker than expected. I bought a lighter version a couple of years ago, but the edges started to fade and couldnât be cleaned anymore. I would recommend these since they stay put and donât slip, even when running down the stairs

Easy to apply and look great
These were better than I expected! I read some reviews that said the plastic backing was hard to remove, but I had no issues. The carpet sticks well, feels and looks good. I need this for my elderly Pomeranian that is going blind to feel confident going up and down the stairs.

So perfect for nonslip on wood stairs for me and my DOG!
These are well worth the price and so far– 3 months– no issues with coming loose or unsticking. Super easy to install. I used a piece of painters tape on one side of each step to align each carpet. Love them!

Look nice and stay in place!
Iâve tried many stair treads. These are the first that actually stay in place, even without carpet tape. I think the bullnose helps a lot, and the gel/sticky on back really works. I bought some for my entrance corridor steps (inside) and was so impressed I bought a large set for my main winder staircase inside. Nice quality. Hopefully they last a long time.

Just what we needed!
Love these! Fit perfectly on our wood stairs and allow our dogs and ourselves a little more traction and confidence on them. The tacky backing is perfect and will not budge under regular use but can be undone and redone with ease when installing, and appears to be able to be stuck and unstuck over and over with no issues
