My first washable rug. Update: Love it – but not washing it!
UPDATE: This rug has been down for a couple days. I love this rugâs look more each day – especially with natural lighting! The center wrinkle has not resolved spontaneously. Iâve also acquired a few more âwashableâ rugs from various brands. This is by far the highest quality rug of the lot. As a result, I am adding a star!ORIGINAL POST:Iâve been shopping for a room size, high pile affordable rug for months. When I could not find one, I decided to give Purrugs 6 foot round rug a try. I have been a skeptic – so it took me awhile to give it a go.Iâ surprised that the rug is so soft to the touch and lovely in person. Itâs astounding that it is made from recycled plastic bottleâs! The workmanship is topnotch – see photos. The non-slip backing is similar to what a bath mat uses.It will make a very nice play area for the grandkids. (This rug as itâs OEKO TEX standard 100 certified. ) Did I tell you that itâs very soft to the touch?When the rug arrived it was folded into a small rectangle. I simple laid the rug out. The majority of the creases disappeared within the hour. The center crease will take a lityle longer to release the memory.When I use the vacuum I need to be a bit careful. I tried all three settings on my a shark vortex upright vacuum. Each one pulls on the rug – which given how light the rug is – doesnât surprise me. Despite being lighter than a traditional rug it feels more substantial than I expected. It is definitely nice to be able to move it on my own – instead of needing help to man-handle an 80 pound rug.I have not washed this rug yet. Looking at its structure, it should hold up. I will likely wait until summer to wash it – because of itâs size I will most likely need to dry it outside.

Perfect for my family room and my pups dirty paws donât scare me because this rug fits very well in my washer! Iâm buying another!!

Beautiful Riug
This rug came packaged nicely and is laying relatively flat as soon as I put it down. Itâs very soft and the pattern is beautiful. Also does not seem to slip as described as well. Perfect non-slipp throw rug.!!!

The Purrugs Farmhouse Boho Runner Rug looks great in our hallway. The pattern and colors are warm and neutral. The fabric is soft to the touch but thin. It has the non-slip rubber on the back which mostly works to keep the rug from sliding. My complaint is that the rug was shipped to us folded up instead of rolled up. As a result, the rug has very deep creases from the folds that are difficult to smoothe out and create a tripping hazard until they flatten out. I imagine that with time the rug will look better once the fold marks lessen. I tried to capture the creases in my photo.

Perfect rug for dining room
This is a thin rug but thatâs what I wanted for our dining room. I needed something I could easily wash and I think this is perfect. I recall seeing some reviews saying the fact it came folded left huge creases. I did not have that issue the creases were gone after a day. Would but again.

attractive, soft, no-skid, washable, thin
This rug exceeded my expectations on many levels: not only was it attractive, soft, washable, thin enough to not get caught under the door when it opens, it is also non-skid, so it stays in place!

Soft & Non-Slip
I ordered the 2′ x 8′ in taupe. The pile is short (a good thing, IMO) and soft. The color is accurately depicted on the seller’s Amazon page and the back has a rubber-like coating that keeps it in place without a separate non-skid pad.My only criticism is that it arrived tightly folded (not rolled), and some of the color had worn off at the folds (see picture). The “vintage” pattern is such that the wear lines are not very noticeable, but it does make me wonder if it is color-fast enough to wash without significant fading.
