At last a pyrex dish with handles that allow you to get an absolutely firm, safe grip.Always found those silly little rounded grips on most pyrex lethal when lifting stuff from the oven.Now getting old with stiffening fingers, this dish is a godsend.It’s made in the USA…there’s no equivalent in this country; just ordered 2 more and it’s about a 10 day wait.All else are normal pyrex features; though it’s also a nice looking serving dish that can sit happily in the middle of the table.

The 2 pieces doesn’t fit and you cannot close it. it is really not useful as we bought it for the reason to be able to close it.Not sure it if was mistake but I would expect you can close it. I would appreciate with you send a right item which works how it should

This Pyrex two quart baking dish is wonderful to cook with. It’s heavy duty with a solid glass lid. The handles on the sides and the handle on the lid are very easy to grasp because they are large and extend well beyond the dish. When I hold the dish it feels very secure in my hands, even with oven mitts on, because the handles are generously sized and deep. The bottom corners are curved, so it’s easy to clean. The one thing that I don’t like about it is that the glass lid doesn’t sit secured on the dish. The lid is at the same level as the dish, so it easily slides around and even completely off the dish if you tip it over just a little bit. It’s hard to explain, but the lip or valley that the sides of the lid sits in are so shallow that it has nowhere to securely nest without movement. It’s a very substantial casserole dish and I prefer that it’s heavier than newer cheaply made products. Its classic Pyrex at its best and made in USA !!

Works well for cooking bacon
I bought this because I cook bacon in the microwave every day. I was tired of using paper towels and did not like cooking in plastic. I also wanted something with a lid to stop splattering. This works well for that purpose. The large handles mean that I can pick up the dish with my bare hands and it isn’t hot. Cleanup is easy. It does take more time to cook because the microwave has trouble with thick glass, but that is normal and not a problem for me. It would be perfect if there was a way to hold the bacon off the bottom when it is cooking to get even more fat off of the bacon, but I am not sure how much a difference it would even make. I haven’t used this dish for anything else but it is great for cooking bacon, but I don’t know why it wouldn’t work great with anything you are cooking. The first one arrived shattered, but I just returned it and reordered a new one (yes, I took a box a shattered glass to the return center! LOL).

Excelente calidad quedo totalmente satisfecho y lo recomiendo ampliamente.No entiendo el comentario acercar del empaque. El empaque en que venÃa es mucho mÃ¡s que adecuado para garantizar la seguridad del vidrio. VenÃa con mÃºltiples capas y protegido por todas partes.

This dish is large as pictured nice and deep. Pyrex maintained the quality on this unit. The lid fits perfect.Perfect for a large family due to its big capacity. I love that it has a dual purpose lid helps your food maintain moisture so your taste perfect! Perfect in the oven!

Hard to believe it’s made by the same company.It’s so strong and beautiful.It’s perfect
This is such a .perfect bakeing dish. A lot of women on the website said the top didn’t fit on, but I don’t think that they’re realizing at that top does stay on and does not move back-and-forth. They just don’t know how to put it. Did the same thing to me and then my husband said well look. It slides in right On . So this is a fantastic piece.You can cook in the whole bacon dish.And the lid can be used as a second Baking Dish as well. I give this 5 stars go for it.You won’t be sorry
