Wow, what vibrant ocean colors!! (Teal.) This rug has in it really all my most favorite colors. Great bathroom size and wonderful quality, I couldnât be happier. I even like the smell Lol. Reminds me of stepping off a plane into a Hawaii airport or shopping for textiles in a foreign country – that (wonderful) musty smell inside establishments of tropical places. Anyway! Itâs faint, Iâm sure it will fade soon unfortunately haha – I think this rug is exquisite and seems custom made or like it came from a boutiquey home store. I usually take a month or two before getting around to reviewing, but I just had to send this one off today when I got it, itâs such a surprise!

Beautiful Rug But Not Washable??
I bought this rug because I needed a large, vibrant piece as an accent in a room that gets cat activity (hair to barf.). Rag rugs usually are a good choice because one can wash them but the directions on the label says not to so as to preserve the rug. So I donât know if that means it would compromise the structural integrity or fad significantly. Itâs an absolutely gorgeous combination of reds and dark orange with a wee bit of sparkle so I will keep and take my chances on laundering it as it has a moldy smell.

This throw rug is super nice. It’s thick, soft, and easy to throw into a washing machine when it gets dirty. It’s dark enough not to show stains. Since it’s cotton, I’m sure that some stains will come out and others never will, but because it’s dark and the colour is variegated nothing will show.For the price, this is so good that I’m planning to buy a couple more, for the backup and as a spare. They are perfect, the size is great. This is one of the nicest rag rugs I’ve seen. I was expecting something much thinner.Super, super pleased with this. And my kitten *loved* it. The second I put it down she was all over it. I wanted to add a photo, but she won’t stay still long enough. You can’t get a better endorsement!

Wonderful colors. Love the material, too. But it will slide around on the floor. And if you get it wet, it will shrink. The colors stay vibrant over time..so far. But the fact that you can’t put it in the washer because it’ll shrink, that’s really an inconvenience.
