Replacement parts
They fit perfectly but the cable was a little long, we just used the original one. Installed about 2 weeks ago and they are still are working.

Good fit for my chair
There were no directions in box. So I preceeded to remove old, looking how it was installed, and where it broke on original.Then I installed new one which was exact length .couldn’t get it in the hoke it was supposed to be in.to short.. then I recline out chair and that is the secret, worked perfectly.. screwed handle back in place and everything works as it should

Ashley furniture replacement
These fit perfectly for our Ashley recliners. This is a fairly easy fix and can even be changed without removing the cable. This allows you to install without turning over the chair. Just remember to release the foot rest before disassembly. This will allow enough slack to pull the cable out and mount to the replacement handle. The handle has a small retaining clip around the mount. Easily removed with flat head screwdriver

Exact replacement
Was exact replacement for my Ashley reclining sofa , looked identical ! Same design ect ect . Is plastic ! But ours failed (plastic conn. Broke cable was ok) after just over 5 years from purchase date AND was the most used latch and often abused ! As an assistance handle to rise out of chair ( back injury) . So am thus far happy w/this item plus got two for under 17.00$ . Just in case another goes !

Perfect fit
This was easy to install and the reclining function works better now than the original part. I did take the old cable out and double check the measurements before purchasing. Super happy with this purchase.

Work perfectly!
Be sure to look up the brand name of your furniture or you could end up buying the wrong parts, which is what happened to me with my first order. These were recommended by the manufacturer and they were easy to install and work just right.
