Easy peasy
This is my second purchase of these stair treads. My first treads lasted over a year before i felt they needed to be replaced. I have 5 chihuahuas who are indoor dogs, so they’re up and down the stairs constantly. They also shed so I’m vacuuming these treads a few times a week. They vacuum well and stay adhered. For the price, i can replace them each year if needed. They have a clear sheet on the back of each tread that you simply peel off and it adheres to your steps! When removing, they leave no residue nor damage! Great value and material with lots of color and pattern options!

Exactly what we needed.
First off. We just need it for my elderly dog who frowned about the idea of a baby gate. He likes his spot by the bed at night and thatâs all the way upstairs. He doesnât like to be separated etc.We installed this and immediately the 11yr old border collie had a confidence boost. His old paws stoped sliding! He has traction!You get what you pay for. Is it perfect? No, the way itâs shipped itâs folded, so it seems like it will take some time to truly lay flat in the middle (see photo) but itâs not anything to complain about. The adhesive isnât permanent, it comes off the floor easily! So donât worry about damaging your flooring!! I was pleasantly surprised by that. I figured once this was all set and done, and my dog goes onto the next journey. I would have to resurface my stairs, but that is not the case! This product does not seem to damage flooring! The adhesive isnât permanent! We picked the color for aesthetics, and it closely matches the stain of our flooring. Super happy we chose this. It is good quality!!

Work well for intended purpose
We got these to prevent our senior (and somewhat clumsy) dog from slipping down the stairs. They were super easy to install and have held up the last month with frequent use. The reason I took off a star is because the material really holds onto hair. I feel like I need to vacuum them every other day because the hair clings to them. The down side is that the adhesive isnât super strong. Going over the edges with the vacuum makes them peel up which Iâm afraid will decrease the amount of time they will stay in place. Overall Iâm pleased with this product but wish maybe the adhesive was a little stronger.

I LOVE these stair treads!
I love everything about these stair treads. Applying them was super easy.Clean your stair treads, measure to center them, peel the backing off and apply.These are super easy to clean. I have dogs, grandkids and a husband who generates a great deal of little wood shavings from his wood carving. They vacuum really well as the tread surface is smooth. Iâve had experience with a textured or patterned floor protection and they are terrible to keep clean. Also very easy to spot clean. Just used a little Oxiclean on a black mark and it came right up.Iâm pretty picky about how things look and was worried they would make my new wood stairway look cheap but no, they look really nice. Iâve had quite a few comments on how good they look. Our dogs will finally use the stairs again too. No more slipping or scratches on our new steps.They came packaged very well too. The treads come stacked on top of each other then âfolded overâ to put in the box. Iâve read some reviews that said the treads were creased and didnât lay flat. This was not the case for me at all. And the adhesion is fantastic! Kind of like a window cling but stronger. Come up pretty easy when needed and DO NOT move around at all. I did save the plastic film that you peel off to adhere them in case I need to remove them in the future to keep the âstickyâ side clean. ðThese things are THE BEST!!

Look great and easy to install
We needed to add something non-slip to our basement stairs as our cats (and we) age. These work perfectly. They look great, adhered really well, and have stayed in place with no issues and we use these stairs to get to our garage too so they get a lot of use. Easy to vacuum and we have a few extra ‘just in case’. Make sure your stairs are clean. My guess is adhesion issues are due to dirty or uneven stairs.

They work, but are not self-adhesive
These are easy to install and provided a nice carpeted area on my basement stairs. They are not sticky at all on the back and did not stick to plain, freshly washed wooden stairs. The provided tape seems to be working, but added a step to the install. For the money, I think they are fine and get the job done.

Extremely thin! Description states comfortable~no way!
One positive here on these stair treads would be the color. Itâs exactly as shown & a nice brown. If I could I would give these a zero because the positive of the color doesnât justify a 1 star. These are the lowest quality stair treads Iâve ever owned. If you look at my picture it reflects how thin the tread is. The description states âcomfortableâ to step on, that these are âdurable:â Based on what I have here I say no way! Once out of the box in feeling the tread I didnât try to adhere them to our stairs because the tread was of such low quality. These are treads that should be sold for less than $15.00. These are overpriced, low quality stair treads & I do not recommend them. Retuning.
