Je voulais les mettre sur les escaliers intérieurs qui mènent du garage à l’intérieur de ma maison. Ce type de marche n’est pas très large en général et je pensais que ça irait sans problème dessus. Au lieu de les couper, je les ai repliées du côté linéaire avant et maintenus avec un tape de hockey gris tout en m’assurant que le coté en L inversé joue son rôle sur l’escalier, donc soit callé dessus. Je l’ai fait sur 3 marches. Donc c’est à considérer lors de vos achats. J’ai dû les recourber et mettre du tape de hockey un peu partout sinon ça glisse et ça ne reste pas en place. Il faut le savoir aussi.2- Peut-être sur d’autres types de marches, ça aurait été mieux, mais la partie en L renversée n’adhère pas comme il faut…ce que je veux dire, c’est que vous aurez besoin soit du tape de hockey soit de les clouer ou les fixer comme bon vous semble pour obtenir l’adhérence voulue. Si vous êtes chanceux, vous n’aurez pas besoin de le faire, c’est à tester surtout si vos marches sont de cette largeur.3- Odeur : je n’ ai pas eu cette forte odeur de pneus dont beaucoup ont parlé, c’était plutôt OK. Normal, pas eu besoin de laisser dehors plusieurs jours. Ouverts et installés tout de suite dans le garage qui est non chauffé.4- Reçu en paquet de 6. En réalité j’avais juste besoin de 3, donc j’essaierai les autres sur des marches extérieures du patio en été.5- Je ne conseille pas à ceux qui veulent s’en procurer de le mettre sur du pavé uni à cause du marques que le caoutchouc par temps froid laissera sur votre pavé uni qui vous a coûté une fortune……. Mettez juste du sel de déglaçage pour pavé-uni dessus et y aller doucement lors du déneigement.6- En somme : C’est un bon produit…tout dépend de vos besoins…Ils auraient pu réduire un peu la largeur……et offrir une meilleure adhérence pour éviter l’effet SLip-on the GO.Malgré les rubans de hockey gris qu’on a collé pour stabiliser le tout, c’est un bon achat surtout en hiver avec la neige et le sel…veut veut pas les enfants montent toujours sur les marches avec leurs bottes de neige et l’eau n’entrera plus en contact avec la peinture qui écaille au contact régulier de l’eau et du sel et on n’aura plus besoin de peindre les escaliers du garage vers la maison plus souvent. Juste les nettoyer à l’eau et du savon et le tour est joué!

I bought these mats for our back deck stairs thinking they would keep us safe from falling on wet wooden stairs. Last week, I fell and broke a rib because rain water got under the mat and when I stepped down on it, it came out from under me and I flew through the air landing my back on the corner of the stair. Voila, broke my 11th rib and severely banged up my right side. It could have been worse, bu it was so painful. The mats should have an adhesive or be clipped on to the stairs. Very dangerous.

The gauge of the rubber is great. We used these on our dock ramp! Worth the money! Btw…had to cut some of the front lip to fit in the grooves…but these were exactly what we needed..nor more falls..Had quite the winds storm and waves were quite strong…Matt’s did not move!

We’ve got hardwood steps and small dogs who struggled to get up them. The carpet pieces we were buying would not stay in place, so we decided to go heavy duty. These things are great, they stay in place and they are easy to manipulate because there’s nothing sticky. Would highly recommend these to anyone with a dog struggling to get up the steps. Only issue is the strong rubber smell, but it dissipates.

These arrived in good packaging and good condition. They hold up very well! The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have had some strong/good 2 sided tape to use so they couldn’t move around. We used carpet tape on them and it worked much better. We no longer catch the ‘fold over’ piece with our toes and they stay in place very well. It would have been nice for that to have been included. Product is made well, but you definitely need the tape to secure them.
