Reliable!
Good ol reliable! I tried out another less known (very slightly cheaper) brand and those all came broken, flimsy etc,,, I’m usually not a big fan of buying brand names(?) but there’s a reason for it I guess!

Great for storing video games!
These totes have been the best I have seen so far when it comes to storing video games. The clear cover makes it easy to see the contents and it fits perfectly for the game casings. They stack great as well. I also like the way the lid clips onto the bin very snug. It appears to hold a decent weight as well.

Nice size, good price.
I needed shoebox sized clear bins. These fit the bill at a good price. Not super thick, but I donât need super thick. They nest together tightly so they donât take up a lot of room

Arrived damaged
Package was delivered quickly, no visible signs on box of damage. However when opened the top tray was broken on two sides. It still sits inside of the tote and the lid still closes correctly, just disappointed to receive a broken item.

Break quickly – very brittle – too brittle – extremely fragile buyer beware
Buyer beware. Don’t buy these they are too brittle, will break quickly and will need to be replaced.These were sold as tough and I bought them because they are Rubbermaid and they are clear plastic, but they perform just like the cheap stuff. Extremely fragile, slight impacts completely shatter them. Drop them only four to six inches with anything in them and they crack straight through the bottom. Stacking them and sliding them on top so that the back side drops a few inches and they crack and shatter. They perform like thin glass and that is saying something. They are unacceptable for a storage container this size. Other Rubbermaid products that I have purchased are tough and durable but they are opaque. When I found these, that they were clear plastic and made by Rubbermaid I had confidence they were as advertised. Very disappointed and at this price point they are incredibly expensive and not worth even buying them at 5 cents on the dollar because they just won’t last. Unusable for storage other than soft goods (blankets, linens, plush toys) sitting on soft carpet. Even then if they are pushed against something solid or hard under the bed, they will crack.Also after using them past the return date which is not long, which I did, they fail quickly and are non returnable.

Bigger than I expected
These were a bit bigger than I expected but I was very pleased with them. they were sturdy without being too heavy and they stack nicely. I used them for holiday decorations and they were perfect for my purposes.

Check for defects asap.
Oh well, don’t make my mistake check these as soon as you get them to look for manufacturing defects like the one in the photos. Obviously overlooked by someone else as well. As far as the entire item goes, I’m a bit disappointed with Rubbermaid for the following reason – no quality control. The blue tabs that lock the lids down might have been just barely adequate except for the molding process with those as well. I had to remove the excess plastic from the holes in the tub so that the tabs of the handles fit into the holes allowing them to close properly. Not the greatest design to begin with compared to other Rubbermaid products I’ve purchased in the past, expecting too much I guess but I was in need of four of them and checking out the listing they looked like a good bargain. Though only this one had a major defect, they all have the handle issue which is nobody made sure the excess plastic was removed from the holes so that the handles fit properly because without removing that you may get the handles open but struggle to get them closed. I was willing to let that go until I found this defect today, so be forewarned and check all four bins handles and lids.

The first time I ordered them was this past March and they were the same price. But I noticed today the price in 3 days has jumped to 141.99. I guess like many consumers today we feel enraged at any price hikes.But there are so many inferior clear storage containers with easily broken (and broken upon delivery) latching lids. So I feel compelled to recommend these containers for the sake of others like myself who are looking for functional clear storage containers.You sense a difference as soon as the box of containers is delivered. There is a sturdy liner box safely holding the lids. And another clever cardboard liner at the bottom.I have bought 4 sets of 6, with no broken boxes or latches. And all the packaging was cardboard which can be recycled and or reused. No waste.The storage containers are even easy for arthritic hands to open and close. OK for lifting. Good stacking.Rubbermaid still makes quality products.

The handles fall off easily and you have to really work to close the containers, the plastic is cheap feeling and is not worth the price paid, especially considering itâs a Rubbermaid product. The handles were broken off when I received the box.
