After reading the other reviews, I bought this area rug for our finished basement office area. I used a rug pad under the rug since there’s a cement floor. It’s a nice soft texture with no shedding. I had no issues with getting it to lay flat. It vacuums up nicely too. I love the different shades of gray on it and the geometric design adds a nice contrast to the basement office. As you can see, the dog likes it too!

We really like this carpet on our floor, adds a nice touch, is warm on our cool tile floors, and it lays flat. Would have been nice if it was a little thicker, but overall we’re happy with the look, price, and quality!
