Very thick and heavy duty!!
I Love this rug….it’s gorgeous and much softer than I expected. I put it in front of my tv console and it looks great. I have a lot of black iron decor so it ties in perfectly. I was afraid it might be too dark with the black but far from it. It’s perfect, looks rich and expensive without actually being expensive. The only thing I would change is how this the ends are….we have to get used to stepping over it, not a big deal since it looks so AWESOME!! Very happy with this purchase and if I had a bigger house with more places for this type of rug I would definitely buy another.

Beautiful rug
This is a thick, well-made rug that adds richness to my sunroom. The color (I ordered the jute & black) is deep and very pretty. As others have stated, the ends are quite thick and you do have to step correctly or they could trip you up. However, the price to get a rug that had woven ends (that would lay flat) rather than hemmed ends (that are double thickness) would have been much more than I wanted to invest in this area of my home.

Beautiful rug for the price
Overall, really love this rug. Beautiful design and weave- thickness is wonderful and feels good underfoot. I’ve had it for about 2 months in a higher traffic area (kitchen)…and though I already see signs of “break down”, it’s actually holding up better than other jute rugs I’ve purchased in the past. I’d recommend placing it in a lower-traffic area if you’d like to keep it “fresh” looking longer, because the fibers seem to trap quite a bit of hair/crumbs/etc. To clean, I brush it briskly with a broom or use the hose attachment on my vacuum, which takes about 5 minutes of your time. I would not recommend actually running a vacuum over it because it will pull the fibers loose. Great value for the price… I’d definitely consider purchasing a replacement in the same style once this one is fully worn out. We get tons of compliments on it whenever friends and family visit!

Love it!
I love this rug! I had to put together a home office area quickly, and I was thrilled to find this rug in 5’x5′ to fit perfectly into my little office corner. It is very thick and looks beautiful. I can see how others might be concerned about the quality over time. I’m not sure it would hold up very well in a high traffic area, due to the loose, bulky weave of the rug. It is perfect for me to use under my desk and chair. Shipping was surprisingly quick, considering the recent pandemic-related delays.

Pretty but impossible to clean NOT durable at ALL
This rug looks great and is softer than I expected it to be. Unfortunately, my cordless vacuum on the lowest setting pulls up the fibers of this natural jute rug, making it impossible to clean. There are already multiple areas that are pulled out on this rug and I’ve only had it for 2 months. I can’t imagine what I would do if something spilled on it. You wouldn’t be able to scrub it at all. You would just have to pat dry. This would be better in a bedroom or less traveled space. Unfortunately, I got it for my dining room. Also, the weave on one edge is VERY thick and easy to trip over. I’m getting a new rug and will donate this.

Looks nice but isn’t well made
I wanted this rug for my laundry room through which I walk from the garage to the rest of the house. While it was attractive, I immediately noticed that it was not woven in long strands and broken strands of jute started to come loose all over. I tried poking them back in but it was pretty fruitless as more kept emerging. The rug is a mess and I’m afraid of trying to vacuum it for fear of pulling more loose ends out of the weave. I can’t recommend this.

Very rough texture
I like the rug but when I removed it from my floor it had worn off my finish from my hardwood floor. Be sure to use a pad under the rug if you are using it on your hardwood floors.

Beautiful rug
This rug is beautiful, heavy, and as described. I’m puzzled by the negative reviews. I have now ordered two of these rugs, experienced almost no shedding, they are clean & the only odor is the mild scent of grass – both pleasant & expected from a jute rug… Occasional loose fibers are easily pushed in place. They hold up well in high traffic areas – my cats love running on them. And Amazon customer service was excellent – quickly replacing one that was lost in transit.
