Attractive and great quality runner — better pricing than local options
We ordered this rug in two different sizes for our home, which has concrete floors throughout. They ship in sealed plastic bags so the rugs are protected from the elements even if the delivery person leaves them outside.We used the runner under our bar chairs at our kitchen island. The natural fabric has a nice clean smell and looks great. The texture is coarse due to the thick weave, but still comfortable on your feet.I know these rugs tend to “dust” as the natural fibers wear, but right out of the packaging these rugs are very clean and don’t leave a dust pile on the floor.Overall, very happy with the quality, look, and value of this rug.

It’s a Superior Jute Rug
I read so many reviews and looked at so many rugs both online and at stores, and was nervous to pull the trigger, as we needed the large size, 10 x 14. We’ve had jute rugs before, including in this family room which is an 18 x 32 foot space. When we opened this rug there was no smell. NOT AT ALL. It unrolled and we haven’t vacuumed it after two days, there was no debris. It feels great to your feet in socks, though not so great in bare feet. We did order a pad for it, a 1/4 inch pad, and will put it under when it gets here soon. Did I mention the rug came four days early? I was thrilled (but it only had to come from two counties over). I suggest the farther you’re shipping the more wear on the rug wrapping, obviously. It came on a rainy day with those dessicant things (anti-moisture packets) rolled up in it, wrapped entirely in plastic. We just could not be more pleased with this rug and the value. Our previous jute rug was from a furniture store and we probably paid four times more for it at least. Recommend this rug highly, IF you’re looking for that designer look with the chunky texture it brings to a big room. I will report back if it wears very quickly or puts out more than normal “dirt” below. I expect a little of that from natural fiber rugs and this is a high traffic area. But for the $ I think it’s a great value!

Looks Expensive, Soft, Easy to Clean
I bought two for covered porches, and they have been great. One is in front of my front door and I just shake it out every few weeks for the perfect mat to catch anything clinging to shoes. No stains or problems yet. The other is on back covered porch with similar success. They are nicer looking than what I used to buy – choir mats – and much easier to care for. These let dirt fall through to surface below which then can be swept up or vacuumed, whereas choir doormats are heavy and collect dirt on surface. Usually when I vacuum, I just open the front door and get what’s under the jute rug. Then a quick shake and front of house nice and clean. I have an old brown shingled house with black trim and wood door and think the tan of these rugs are a nice contrast. I’m not sure about using inside, but they could be good for a rustic look. They are a little primitive – or maybe raw is a better word, but for outside, a perfect fit. Just make sure a screen door, for instance, will open over them, because these rugs are pretty thick!

Very different from photo
I have had many of these rugs over the years and always buy this brand. This one arrived with a very orange weave that Iâve never seen before and that is not depicted in the listing photos at all. The orange woven in is not only incredibly distracting but also very rough in texture. I could not return this fast enough!

NOT 9â long!
This rug is beautiful. Itâs heavy and great quality. No odors at all. It came in perfect condition. My issue is the size. The rug is not 9×12 as stated, it is 8.6×12. Very frustrating. As you can see by the 9×12 rug pad, it really falls short.

I got the square 5×5 and itâs exactly what I was looking for ! The quality is amazing! It looks high end. The threads ante large, the carpet is thick and the colour is as shown. It was very well packaged and the care instructions were clear. The smell of the jute was gone after one day

Compre esta alfombra de yute, con reservas por las reseñas que lei, pero el precio fue permisible para experimentar, querÃa una alfombra de yute de buena calidad, con trenzado estético, y esta parecÃa esto. Fue grata la sorpresa recibirla, los materiales todos naturales (hasta suaves) y con muy buena calidad de terminados. Obviamente por el tipo de material se debe barrer y aspirar de forma regular, pero es parte de una alfombra de este tipo. Precio/calidad excelente!

This is a great rug – well made and thick, so has a good cushion factor. The colour of the “natural” is not exactly as shown in images. Mine showed up with a lot of variations in the rug from dark to light so it doesn’t look as bright but I am very happy with it.
