I purchased the âSAFAVIEH Polar Shag Collection Area Rug – 10â X 14′, White, Solid Glam Design, Non-Shedding & Easy Care, 3-inch Thick Ideal for High Traffic Areas in Living Room, Bedroomâ to be exact.I absolutely LOVE this rug. As soon as I got a glimpse of it when I started to open the packaging, I could see right away it was a good quality.I donât know about ânon-sheddingâ considering it shead while I was unpacking it. But I guess we will see in coming months. I bought it for my master bedroom. I would not recommend it if you have pets who shed though. You will never get the fir out. I have two Wolfhounds who shed 364 days a year but they arenât allowed in my bedroom which is why I splurged. Although I will say, I didnât pay much for such a quality rug. I noticed the price did go up since I purchased mine.I only gave it 3 stars due to the filth I sadly discovered around the edges of the rug. I didnât notice it at first because I was so busy struggling with just trying to unpack it and getting it laid out. Itâs a very heavy rug. But itâs almost brown in spots. My best guess is it happened while being packaged because it was sealed up very well when I received it. My house is brand new so I know for a fact it didnât happen while I was unpacking it. You can see the damage in the pictures and video I uploaded along with the beauty of the rug. The pictures were taken right after I got it laid out so that it why you see a seem in it from where it was folded.I wont take away how beautiful it is due to what i think might be faulty packaging. But sadly I am not sure how the heck Iâm supposed to go about returning such a large and heavy item. I donât even know if I can get it in my car or how Iâm supposed to repackage it.I donât even see it in the store for replacement on Amazon now. :(Iâll have to update my review at a later date to let you know the outcome for your reference.

Love this rug!
I bought the beige. Itâs a khaki beige.. itâs plushâ¦ looks thicker online but itâs a really nice full shag rug! There is a chemical odor.. I sprayed woolite carpet cleaner ( foam) let sit for 20 minutes ran my vacuum over it on high rug pile setting then I sprayed Lysol after it driedâ¦ opened my window for a couple hours smell was gone. Makes my room look plush.

Absolute disappointment. Carpet pile very thin. Carpet length not 3 inches as mentioned. Returned said product on August 30th,2023. Received notification from Post Office that it was retuned with signed signature of receipt. As of today September 12,2023 I have not receive my credit.

The texture and quality of this carpet is beautiful but the chemical smell is absolutely terrible unfortunately…it is going to cost me $80 to get it cleaned professionally so I think I have to return it. Very disappointed that I have to go through all this trouble for something I really liked.

The rug pile is nice and high and it is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

BEAUTIFUL, SOFT, HIGH QUALITY RUG !!!
This rug has exceeded my expectations, as Iâve ordered several over the years and I am usually disappointed. {Itâs hard buying certain things online â without being able to touch it or test it, you know !?} But this rug is a WINNER !!It is thick, soft, fluffy, and a true bright white. The back is thick and solid too; although we have a king bed and bench on it, I doubt it would move much, even on wood floors. I had initially considered a separate pad underneath, but Iâm glad I didnât get one, because it doesnât need it.Itâs easy to maintain (SLIGHTLY tough to vacuum because itâs such a high pile, but I really mean very slightly â and it doesnât suck up or rip out any of the fibers). It does not shed. It does not smell. It is beautiful. Excellent quality. Great value. It is exactly what I was looking for, and it is truly one of the nicest rugs Iâve ever owned. Iâm even considering a second one for the family room!

Mats together too easily.
This is the 2nd one I have purchased. It is the perfect color for my bathroom but it doesnât hold up well. It gets matted easily and the fibers donât fluff back up after standing on it. It is difficult to vacuum. I donât shake it enough and that contributes to the matting.
