Very happy
Placed this in front of fireplace with gas logs. Very soft and a pleasure to walk on barefoot. Makes for some romantic nights in front of the fire with drinks. Would purchase again. Real sheepskin and great quality. Needs airing out. Smell leaves fast. Vacuuming it regularly is easy and keeps it fluffy. The dogs love it.

Very warm pets might kill it
I got the 4×6 and it’s perfect for my library chair. It’s very warm and soft on the feet. I wouldn’t trust putting it in a high traffic area it seems like it would just soak up mud and dirt. It’s a cream color with yellow undertones. The color is giving more polar bear vibes. Unfortunately the cats are obsessed and have been attacking it, but still I haven’t seen any shedding. It’s actually very light. The backing is a kind of faux suede instead of leather

I am very happy with this rug
This rug is is just what I was looking for. My comfort, glam office/lounge was missing a warm, cozy, glam rug and this rug is just perfect. The 5’x8′ rug came rolled up nicely and wrapped in plastic. It was light enough for me to move and unroll by myself, but because of its size and quality, there is a some weight to it. There was a very mild odor that dissipated after a few minutes of me unwrapping. A note came with the rug explaining that there may be a mild odor, and how to care for the rug. I’ve had the rug laying for a few days and there was light shedding (hardly noticeable), but after a quick vacuum with a hand held vacuum (as instructed on the note) that little bit of shedding stopped.It’s not easy to find a quality, affordable fur rug that doesn’t look cheap. This rug looks expensive and is definitely a statement piece. I wouldn’t think twice about ordering this rug again.

FAKE. NOT SHEEPSKIN
I purchased two of these and didn’t even bother to open the second one. They are not natural sheepskin. They are pretty decent fakes, honestly, the back is artificial microsuede so it looks pretty natural if you’re unfamiliar with sheepskin. But they still look kinda cheesy compared to real sheepskin.

Soft, plush and no odor
Was hesitant when I read about odor in other reviews, but there is no odor to this item. It is 6×6 ft soft and padded. Lovely to sit or walk on. Variegated white to off-white in color. Highly recommend.

Better than you imagined…
I bought a 4’x6′ from Safavieh 10 years ago and just received its replacement. I’ve slept on it every night and meditated on it every day. In short, I love it. It’s the most comfortable surface I can imagine.Here’s what you need to know. A sheepskin is just that, animal pelt(s). The 4×6 is four pelts sewn together. It will have a sheepskin smell, which will reduce over time. When it comes, it is rolled up and in a heavy clear poly sleeve, Open the end, not the side! This way if you need to return it, you can roll and slide it right back into the shipping sleeve.The dimensions you buy are approximate. It’s a naturally variable product.You might prefer a medical sheepskin if you live in a hot climate. The fur on these is altered to make the hairs shorter.I think I will cover it with a bottom sheet from now on. It might last 20 years that way.

fits my kingsize bed perfect
Love it…It is big and fluffy and does not have any odor that I can tell….came early …I really love the way it fits my bed….it makes my firm mattress feel alot softer…really dont want to sleep without it ….nice and cushiony…Great deal right now fifty dollars off….great deal…..
