Straightforward setup
We have slanted ceilings so we knew going in we’d need a mount kit for this. My husband was actually just able to use the downrod from the ceiling fan that was previously mounted. He said it was no harder than any other ceiling fan he’s ever installed from a big box store. The light is very bright, but only in the area directly underneath it; it doesn’t throw out much ambient light to the rest of the room. The LEDs don’t cast light as well as traditional bulbs do in my opinion. The fan is pretty good, no complaints there. The remote works fine, though the included screws make it a very tight fit for the remote in the wall mount remote holder so I had to use screws of my own for that. All in all I’d recommend this fan.
