Doing a base install is likely not that hard. I ran into issues because of the space I was using and that the doors I found locally looked like junk so I had to build my own…which I thought would be simple.Well, the wood I bought was crappy and was heavier and thicker than I planned….however, this door hardware has held up. It has more than met my expectations.I did opt for a header and it had to be a little higher than I thought. I will trim it out and it will look better when I redo the room.The instructions could use some improvement, maybe some editing and clarification of pictures. However, I have seen far, far worse.Overall I am pleased.

I like this product because it is heavy duty and is long enough to accommodate my shed bar door. All the hardware is included. It’s long enough to allow the door to open and close properly. I recommend it.

I used this to extend an existing barn door rail when we realized our original installation needed modified. It worked as needed. however, if you have a double bypass barn door, the spacers that come with this are not long enough you will need to make adjustments. But that was my fault for not looking.
