This was his birthday present. He amazed me. He had it installed and up and running in less than an hour. It really works well and saves so much hassle of dealling with keys and dead bolts. We now can let the dog walker and house sitter in without duplicate keys being passed around.

We Like this lock
We like the convenience of this lock; it looks nice, and we enjoy the key fob and fingerprint access, no more fumbling for the house key. We had a small problem with the app communication with the lock and after a few tries to fix this this company sent me a new lock very quickly. This lock was very easy to install and the programming of fobs and entry password was easy. I would buy this again

4 fresh new Duracell last about 6 month ( not 1 year or 10000 opening)Malfunction when weather is less than 32FIt is saying Door is unlock but actually not unlocking, then saying Operation Failed many timesMechanical Keys are not possible to duplicate at Home Depot or Auto Key Machine, original key is too shortWhen battery is about 10%, you have to use the Mechanical Key, Digital Key Fob, Finger Print, even the App are not going to open it, you will be locked out.This is piece of S, DON’T BUY IT.

I just installed the lock, and due to âuser errorâ, I reached out for some assistance to help troubleshoot why my lock was unlocking when it was supposed to lock and locking when it was supposed to unlock. April provided outstanding customer service to make sure my lock operated as I expected. She followed up and didnât rush to just âclose my case.â She made sure I was good! Now that Iâm up and running, this lock is pretty fantastic. I really enjoy being able to set a unique passcode for each of my children, eliminating having to give them a physical key. I also really enjoy the fingerprint feature! This product was a great find!

I recently purchased a Smonet smart lock and am very happy with it. My primary requirement was that it support fingerprint entry, but because I wanted to match the style of my existing door hardware I had limited options. As you can see from the picture, the Smonet smart lock was a perfect match for my my apartment door’s style–it looks beautiful, almost like it was designed to go with this door hardware.The lock supports all of the features you’d expect in a much more expensive smart lock, including a fingerprint reader, passcodes, e-keys, and it even comes with a pair of NFC id cards that you can wave in front of the keypad for touchless unlocking. A bonus feature is its support for a door sensor so that the lock knows when the door is open or closed. This is an inexpensive add-on which I purchased immediately.My only real complaint with the lock was that it could only be accessed by Bluetooth meaning that I couldn’t control it remotely. The solution was the G2 gateway. This is a small box, sold separately, that pairs with the smart lock so that it can be accessed anywhere using the Smonet Next Lock app. I originally had difficulty getting the gateway to work reliably with it going offline/online every day. However, thanks to excellent help from Smonet tech support I was able to resolve the issues I was experiencing and it is working fine now. If anyone is considering this addition to their Smonet smart lock, you will probably need to purchase a small secondary router or extender that is configured to broadcast only in 2.4Ghz. Like many products on the market today, the G2 gateway doesn’t work with 5Ghz routers or even routers that operate in dual band 2.4/5 mode. I purchased a small travel router and mounted it alongside the G2 gateway and the gateway is now rock solid.All in all, the Smonet smart lock is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Installation was mostly straightforward. The lock fit my door with no modifications. It took a couple tries to get the correct configurations for my left opening door. Once it was installed I had issues connecting what they call a “bluetooth administrator”. I had to contact customer support for instructions for how to reset it. After the reset I was able to connect it to the app. After everything was installed and set up the lock wouldn’t function correctly. I contacted support again and after walking through a few tests scenarios it turned out to be an internal electrical issue, so they sent me a new one which arrived in 3 days. After installing the new one everything worked fine. The only thing I don’t like about the lock is that you need a separate gateway to connect the lock to your home network. Other than that it works great.

You would be crazy not to buy this, it is so future rich, Iâve seen similar at Home Depot for 300 and $400. Get the gateway with it you will definitely not regret it, I was able to unlock the door for my friend when I was in Mexico and after she left and texted me, I locked the door again. It also has multiple functions such asvacation mode access to someone else and restricted access to certain times plus with the gateway. It lets me know when ever somebody opens the door and this morning I found out it also Let me know when the superintendent did not use his thumbprint correctly and set the alarm off and the alarm went to my phone to let me know there was an intruder. Very future Rich in a simple looking piece of equipment.

Update…they did their best to make it right. Renewed faith.Was very excited to receive and install my new lock…worked well for a week and then the deadbolt started to catch and scrape locking me out or in. Callled customer support and sent pictures and was told I’d receive a call back that day, over a week ago, I did receive a text message saying to email so did that… contacted through WhatsApp also waited 4 days – I honestly just gave up was just being given the runaround – uninstalled it and will toss just isn’t worth being locked out and in repeatedly with the lack of customer support that does not match the price tag. Lots of others to look at this was a total waste of money time and energy!

Received the package unsealed, not sure if it is brand new. Haven’t installed it, will update after installation.Update: it works well as expected, the only thing I regret is I should buy Wifi version for more advanced monitoring, not sure if there is such version.

Impressive Door Lock
The lock is impressive and has several features that make unlocking/locking convenient and easy. Pass codes can be permanent, timed or single use. Thumbprints work for the whole family. IC cards add yet another option to scan a thin, modern looking card instead of using a physical key. We’ve only played with the lock for a day, and I’m sure this is just the surface of what it can really do.Similar to other customers, the initial lock that we received was faulty. However, due to a stellar customer support…we received a replacement lock in about 3 days and it has been going great since. The customer support indicated they were open every day for most hours. I can attest this is true…as they called me back and followed up by text throughout the weekend and evenings. I really have to praise this group – your satisfaction with the product is their top priority. Everything worked perfectly with the replacement.Regarding installation, it was fairly straightforward and instructions were clear. Due to the size of the strike plate hole, I had to shave some of the wood for a proper fit. However, this is a fault of the frame and not the lock. Installation took about 5 minutes and 4 AA batteries with a power drill. Super-easy.Overall, I highly recommend this lock. It is great value for the money and provides so much flexibility. I look forward to buying more locks in the future.
