I had it installed by an expert. I am happy with it. Love the style, color black fits perfectly with my kitchen cabinets knobs and handles. I use this for my laundry room sliding double barn door. Itâs easy to operate and slide smoothly.

Looks great! Solid product!
Went together easily. Well thought out kit for hanging on brick or sheet rock. You may need to install your own header across the top if you are unsure on the spacing of the studs in your wall, and then mount the kit on that – this part is not covered in the instructions so look up a video! Otherwise a great rail kit!

Quality product. Smooth operation!
Love it! Easy install. Smooth glide. Quality product. I build 2 barn doors from Southern yellow pine and a wall out of ceda (picture attached). I’d definitely buy it again. Be sure to run wood blocking along the top where you will install the rail. To be sturdy, you’ll need something to screw it into every 16 inches. I ran blocking in the wall across the whole top. Make sure you install the rail level!You’ll mount the rail at door height plus 1 9/16″ from the floor. For example, my door was 86 7/8″ high and the rail was mounted at 88 9/16″ from the floor. This will leave a 3/8 inch gap at the bottom of the door.I would have rated the door 5 stars but I’m not excited about the bottom glide which holds the bottom of the door. The instructions have you cut a 3/4″ deep slit in the bottom of the door for a plastic piece to go into and will hold the door from swinging out while gliding. I’m sure it works, but I don’t want that slit in the bottom of the door. . I prefer a roller that holds the door from the outside. I bought the roller guide on amazon. There are many choices.

Work great but requires extra work.
Rollers are silent and smooth. The appearance is quite pleasing but the floor guide is a royal pain in the a#s that requires you to router a 1/4″ grove across the bottom of the door.
