Had a customer barn door built and everything about it was perfect but the inside … there was no handle. I took my dremel tool and notched our the area and secured this plate with 2 screws. Now it’s perfect.

So worth the money. I just installed this on a sliding barn door project I was working on and I’m in absolute love. This made the entire project look and feel professional. Make sure you’re prepared to recess the door handle. I used a Dremel with a router bit attachment to rough cut the size and dimensions before finishing it off with a chisel. A normal chisel will do the trick, but it’ll take some time so be prepared.Only thing I think would make this better is if they added a template for both the inner and outter dimensions, made it a bit harder to trace, but it still came out looking just perfect.

This product as is is not an Easy install, as you have to dig out the wood to fit them in. That’s what the product is! So, easy No, but that’s what this product is, it’s an item that had to fit inside the wood. All in all they are sturdy and I like them! Just don’t think anyone should think it’s EASY.
