So far VERY Happy – Great Size!
Update 1/11/21: we just found a large piece of jagged wood in our bag!! Scary as itâs for our 5yr old and they like to play with the bags often!!We got these for our kids playroom. In the photo they are on another room in our house but they are 5 & 7 for age/size reference. We got the 3 footers and so far impressed. We just unboxed them 2 hours ago and with some manipulation they are already looking full. We know they have a few more days to fully fluff up. I was concerned they would be too small and not for adult use at all, but I think I can sit on one just fine (Iâm 5â6â). For full comfort I would order larger.

Great product
The fabric cover is great , well made! The bean bag stuffing material is very supportive! We are well pleased!

comfy, great value, but a bit lumpy
was super cozy and not messy at all, though some of the pieces were a bit big and made the bean bag lumpy. still super comfortable though, and great for the price

Regret in a garbage bag
This âshredded foamâ stinks and is not worth buying. It smells musty and strong and itâs giving me itchy eyes and a cough (and Iâve been sneezing occasionally too) since I opened it. It gets everywhere (static cling) and once you open it to inspect it, there is no way you will ever get it to fit back in the box it came in to return it. I had the same issue also with there being many hard chunks and mine even had shreds of cardboard mixed in with the foam. There is no way this is memory foam filling. It looks like a bunch of scraps from packing and furniture construction. Donât buy it.

Great filling for bean bag
I ordered 30 pound filling to finish off my very large beanbag. It did the job, the beanbag is very comfortable and kids love it.

Just cheap, assorted foam-scrap, but great for beanbags.
I still can’t get over how expensive large beanbags have become. I thought I’d save at least 100 bucks buying a cover and filling it myself. All that came of it was a LOT of aggravation as weeks turned into months of searching for some way to fill up a 6-foot bag without costing as much as an actual recliner. In the 90’s I could get as much scrap foam like this as I wanted for free, from any number of places. Now those places have either shut down or sell off their scrap to some type of industrial recyclers. But, with a nice beanbag cover still sitting unfilled since last Christmas, I finally found this and ordered it, despite some seriously concerning reviews. This had the best price at the time (possibly due to slumping sales from negative reviews), and it was about the only brand I found actually sold by amazon, not just shipped by… which gave me greater confidence that it was legitimately sourced. Surprisingly, even considerably more expensive brands, most of which were only shipped by amazon, had more than their share of convincingly negative reviews too, indicating what you see may not be what you get.So, throwing caution to the wind, with a little hope that the more concerning negative reviews were from people who bought the product sourced from vendors other than amazon, I ordered two 30lb bags. This was pretty much exactly what I expected: scrap foam of various unknown type, shape, and color. No garbage or uncomfortably hard debris. I still have no idea how much of the bag is memory foam, but that wasn’t critical to me. Memory foam is way overhyped online anyway. Because it can be compressed more than other foams it can be shipped cheaper, which I think is its main appeal for online vendors. But for beanbags, some have suggested that memory foam is actually too soft. They may be right, or they may just need to fill the bag fuller than the rule of thumb used for traditional Styrofoam pellet fill, which isn’t going to compress like foam.I was trying to fill a 6-foot bean bag cover. According to the top online calculator that I could find, it should have taken 45 lbs of memory foam, so I ordered two 30lb bags, as that was the best value and I was skeptical of the 45lb estimate. It wasn’t enough. After 60lbs, the 6-foot beanbag was nice, but even a 200 lb adult would about sink to the floor unless they stretched out on it like a bed. Another 30lbs (90lbs total) did the trick. The beanbag is now a huge hit. Considering how soft it is and how much in compressed, the majority of the mix may very well be memory foam. But I still wouldn’t bet on it.The foam comes stuffed in an extremely thin commercial trash bag, large enough to spread out the full width of the 6-foot beanbag cover. It’s so thin it tears easily, which according to the instructions is intentional to let air in so the foam will expand. It seems designed to be left in the beanbag with the foam, which is what we did, thinking it’ll make it a little less messy to remove, should we need to wash the beanbag cover. The thin, oversized bag of foam comes tightly compressed into a zippered canvas bag, which boggles the mind exactly how they fit it in there while compressing the foam, likely by sucking the air out. It’s not an especially nice bag, but it seems a waste to dispose of it. I’m sure the need of such is part of why we’re having to pay such a premium for something that furniture repair shops used to be eager to give away, as it kept them from having to send it to the landfill. Of course, shipping such as large, heavy box isn’t cheap. So, any vendor advertising free shipping, no doubt has some shipping accommodation in the price. If it says shipped AND sold by amazon, I think this product can be trusted for your bean bag fill. Those looking for pillow-stuffing and the like may be better off looking for a product that’s 100% memory foam and more uniformly cut.

So far so good
I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Shipping was fast. After reading some other reviews, I decided to open it and fluff it, allowing for plenty of time for it to fluff back up to original size. Picture attached is after about ten mins of opening up the cover and literally breaking up the entire big brick of foam inside. Itâs already expanded quite a bit, but I will give it a few days as the instructions state it may take 4-5 days to fully expand back to original size after shipping. I will try to come back and update on how much it has or hasnât expanded after that point. So far so good. Not sure how much support this would really offer for an adult or an older child, but should do the job just fine for my 7 year old.Update: itâs been a couple days now and this thing puffed right up. I really do open up the case and completely break apart the foam on the first day though so Iâm sure that helped. I sat in it myself to test it out and itâs actually not too bad. I canât see myself sitting in it for long periods of time because thereâs nowhere to rest my head, but this should be the perfect size for my daughter. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Works great for extra fill in my giant bean bag
This compressed foam comes excellently packed. I got it to add much needed volume to an underfilled giant bean bag. It is best to place this unopened into your bean bag first, slice it open while in the bean bag and push out the contents neatly. Then toss around/roll around your sealed bean bag a bit and let it sit for bit to fluff up fully. Very comfortable small pieces worked great for me and am very happy with it.
