I wish I had found this years ago!
We have a lovely green velvet couch that is still like-new after 22 years, and we plan to keep it indefinitely. But our cat loves to scratch it even though he has his own scratching posts and furniture. For a long time I had those clear plastic sheets that stick to furniture and prevent cats from scratching. Well, they worked fine but it also meant we couldn’t use the furniture either without having to remove and replace the plastic anti-scratch sheets. So when I came across this couch protector – and in so many colors – I was thrilled! The large size was the right size for the couch, the color was right, and it is even reversible if I want to use the lighter shade. It’s a nice soft fabric that is easy to vacuum hair off or and easy to wash, and now all of us plus the cat can use the couch and still keep the green velvet in mint condition. I did not end up using the straps that came with it because the shape of the couch does not go up in back so there is nothing to wrap the straps around, but the protector still works perfect, tucks in well, protects the arms, and I love it! It’s a great value and highly recommend getting one if you are looking for something like this.

Great Chair Cover – Very Dog-Friendly
I always said that I wouldnât allow my dog on the furniture- but she had other ideas and seemingly on one particular chair that she claimed as her own lol! This cover has been amazing. It fit well and the measurements (for a small chair ) were pretty accurate. I did use the strap to hold it onto the back and it does keep it from sliding down or moving but I donât think it would be required if you didnât like it. It is not very thick but it still works well. Protects the furniture from dog hair, dander and nail damage but itâs not waterproof – which is not a problem for me but may be for others. Overall for the price itâs perfect and Iâve stopped the âbattle for the chairâ with my sweet pup (who is currently napping on her favorite chair).

Great protection, easy to install, looks good.
This sofa cover is well made, as far as we can see so far. It fits well enough and looks good enough, considering it is hiding most of our new leather sofa. It stays in place pretty well, given the use Danny Boy (reason for getting it) has made of it.Update: Now that we have used the cover for a while we can mention a couple of things. First, the elastic strap that goes around the back of the sofa has metal fasteners that are annoying. You slip metal prongs into little fabric pockets. If you only have to do it just every once in the while its no problem. But we have found we have to refasten them fairly frequently. Secondly, the elastic strap tends to slip off fairly often.(Danny Boy’s fault. Should probably mention the sofa is of smooth leather.) We are thinking trying to pin the strap across the back flap in three places or so in hopes that it will help. Overall, we still are happy with the quality and looks of the cover. Hopefully, the manufacturer can make some adjustments in the future.

A Better Sofa Cover for Pets
I really like this pet sofa cover. It fits my sofa great. The only problem I have is with the stretch strap that goes from side to side around the top/back. That isn’t quite long enough as it is pulled tight at the front sides.It has been loosened as much as it can be. But, it still is working for now. I foresee that as a breaking point with time. But overall, the cover fits snug and looks great!

Missing strap and no customer service.
I liked this cover even tho the color I ordered (seafoam) is much lighter than in their picture. FYI, Itâs more like a minty/aqua, pretty tho and seemed to be of good quality. It lost two stars with me, bc I never received the strap to hold it onto the sofa back and am being forced to return it. My little dogs sit on the back of the sofa and so that just became a no-go for me, because it wonât stay in place w/o that strap. I tried multiple times to contact this company since the day it arrived. I emailed Gorilla Commerce and they told me contact the seller. So. Iâve called, left a voicemail and talked to the virtual assistant and NOTHING. Virtual assistant says no replacement parts, return or replace the item. Iâll just say – its a nice cover but if you order it, if you donât get that strap, the customer service on this one is just non-existent.PS I ordered 2 more sofa covers (from other companies). I refused to reorder from this company because they never cared if I got a strap the first time and I had no guarantee they would send me a strap the 2nd time either.The other covers I ordered were both a lil cheaper and one even had straps actually made in. I figured If it was gonna cost me to return this one (rural area, no UPS store in my town) then I might as well make sure to get a strap in the process. And Guess what? They both came with straps. Wow! Imagine that?! I decided on the one with the straps made in it. Itâs made by Vanelux if anyone else is interested. The straps are bungied with no metal parts. Just seemed safer for my dogs as well. Itâs really nice and fully reversible AND true to color, too. I know some said they wouldnât stay on even with the strap on theirs so maybe this other type strap would. Iâve already put it on my sofa and It stays put with my little doggies. So win win – Mission accomplished.Now itâs gonna be time to pay the piper tho – with my 2 returns. I donât care tho. I needed this to work. I was willing to buy a strap. I told this company that- but just got no response. Itâs ok, alls well that ends well. I like the one I received better. Itâs got two usable sides, both pretty colors and integrated straps just across a very ends that actually hold it in place. So, it was worth it, plus it was also a tad bit cheaper, too. Although, I could have done without all this stress. Blessings.Update: I finally returned the seafoam cover and they didnât charge me the fee to return at UPS drop off point. Never did even receive so much as a return email from this seller, tho, so Im leaving it at 3 stars due to crappy customer service and the stress that I so didnât need.Oh, and I decided the just keep the other 2 Id ordered. I actually got those two for the price of this one, and they both work, are both reversible, and have their straps, one has them built in. So now I have a change while ones in the wash, since my little dogs love the back of the sofa. Iâm happy and theyâre happy, so we wish you all success on your sofa cover journey! Perfect color, Taupe!
My couch is light grey and cream weave and after trying a cover in other colors, I think this is the perfect color to match it! The light or dark grey colors Iâve tried just didnât look good. Fits my large couch perfectly too!
