Love this fan!
I love the natural wood of this fan, it compliments my room beautifully. It is very high end in appearance. The installation went smoothly which I appreciated. It has different speed settings and is reversible to cool in the summer and help with heat distribution in the winter. The remote gives different options for fan speed and lighting and is even programmable! I canât wait to connect it to my Alexa google device. It is also very quiet. It is a very good quality fan and light. It is my second fan from this company and I highly recommend them.

I have had 3 sofucor fans now, and this models design looks the best and the redesigned remote is very functional.Assembly was easier than prior models too.Unfortunately, out of box, the fan was unbalanced, wobbles, and has a rotational scratching noise that hasn’t gone away after a few hours on. Also the thin braided wires are cheap and break easilyOne of my prior fans from this company died after just a year, but customer support did send a replacement part for free. Hoping there’s a fix for this one that wont requirement taking it down.Unfortunately, does seem that they still have production issues that they havent ironed out yet.Update: I had emailed Sofucor and they sent me a new motor and blades. Put another hour of DIY time in without resolution. The problem was even more pronounced in the replacement, but did reveal the specific defect.The motor’s casing does not sit properly aligned with the motor and down rod. This causes the casing of the motor to intersect with the plane of the fan blades, causing them to touch. In the replacement motor, it was so miss aligned that the the motor could not overcome the friction. I used force to move the casing up a mm or 2 , which gave enough clearance for the blades to turn, but with an even worse grinding noise.If you look carefully in the last pic, the ere is apx 4mm clearance on left side but none on right.Fwiw, customer service has been great, responsive and sent replacement parts free however, given my above findings, I think there is either a systemic manufacturing defect or fundamental design flaw and this is not limited to individual units. and thus cannot recommend anyone buy this model. Frankly I would avoid the brand all together. Rating changed from 3/5 to 1/5 in update.

Easy to install, SUPER quiet, convenient remote
Iâve bought and installed fans from pretty much all of the brands you can find at the big home improvement stores. We bought another one by this company for our master bedroom and liked it enough to pick this one up for our family room. We installed it a week ago and have had it running almost 24/7 since.Installation is relatively easy. The blades are very lightweight, but theyâre not the usual type with printed paper on them. The only tricky part is that the wiring is quite long. It uses molex connectorsâthat makes hooking ip the remote receiver to the fan easy, but if you use a shorter down rod, thereâs a good bit of extra wire youâll need to secure inside the canopy. Not a big deal, but just something to be aware of as youâre buttoning up.We really like how the fans turn on almost immediately. Thereâs not really a ramp up time. Theyâre also extremely quiet. The remote is intuitive with the exception of the WiFi button (I think maybe you need another module for that? Itâs not noted in the instructions), and the wall mount it comes with is nicer than a lot of the holster-types. Itâs nice that you can reverse the direction without having to climb up and access a physical switch on the fan itself.The shade for the light (not the color of the light but the actual cover that goes over the LEDs) is very white and up close is pretty easy to tell isnât glass. However, itâs nice that we donât have to worry about shattering it or anything like that. Aside from that, the fan housing is built very solidly.The fan is extremely quiet in all aspects. Thereâs no loud whirring motor, there arenât any stay clicks or mechanical noises, and it even pushes a lot of air without the blades being loud as they spin.Overall, I donât see us buying fans from the orange or blue stores again.

Great price for the fan. The material quality seems really good. Very quiet; can barely hear it running. The wooden blades are very pretty. You can adjust the brightness and the lighting color between soft white, white, and daylight. And the whole light has a very clean, modern look to it. Instructions were great also with real pictures. The remote has great functionality.
