Great Storage and ottoman
This storage bench is the perfect size and color to match our living room.It worked so well with our furniture that we got rid of our glass coffee table and replaced it with this!It’s extremely easy to assemble. Took less than 2 minutes!We actually bought a smaller size to place in front of our Love Seat.Both are strong enough to hold a 250 lb. man sitting on it!Highly recommend!

I am giving it FIVE STARS because it was the most inexpensive cushion bench on Amazon when I purchased it and it is PERFECT for MY needs.I am reorganizing my textile studio (Sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting). It completely blew up over the fact I needed more storage!I am using this bench to hold all my quilt batting, fleece and sherpa-like material. I am NOT planning on opening this bench daily, whatsoever.Pros:I am not taking a photo of the beige cushion bench because photos of this piece do NO justice! It looks much nicer than the photos that others have already uploaded to this review site.The beige is actually a pretty beige that mixes well with the IKEA white furniture and the honey colored wooden bookshelves already in the room.I am 150 lbs and feel comfortable sitting on it. It is STURDY! Did I say sturdy? Yep, it is sturdy!Con:The top is a bit finicky to put onto the bottom. I would not purchase this piece for a child’s toy box. I would not want to be the parent who is placing the top onto the bottom nightly (A child cannot do this; I am a teacher and a parent so I know). It would be a great addition in a child’s room holding extra blankets, pillows, things that aren’t used regularly.

Keep your cat away
Update. I originally ordered a gray one. This was on a Black Friday special, $44 and shipped in three days. Loved it so much I ordered the green one. The green one is so much better looking color wise. But it was not on the Black Friday special, was $64 and took a little over a week. But it did come earlier than projected. These things are great, but not worth the $64! Maybe the $44. But they are still great storage solutions that are attractive and can be used as window seats.*************************************Update 2. My cat loves sitting on them. I just have to prevent it from climbing in when I am accessing the ottoman storage.*************************************This came in a short box, which surprised me. I thought it was more solid. Well DUH, it is a “folding” storage ottoman. But once you put it together (only takes three minutes) it is surprisingly pretty sturdy. There is a divider piece to divide it into two sections. I found it to be handy.If you have a cat, keep it away while assembling. Your cat will want to jump in! Mind did. And he wouldn’t come out, even when I put the lid down.

I bought this ottoman as an attractive option for hiding toys, blankets and everything else that ends up on my living room floor..and it delivered plus some. It’s big enough to store a bunch of my kiddos’ toys, blankets, or even some of those bulky winter clothes that just take up so much space. And let me tell you, having that extra storage has been a blessing for keeping the living room from looking like a toy bomb exploded.Now, besides being this magic box that swallows clutter, it’s also pretty sturdy. I’ve sat on it more times than I can count, and it’s held up like a champ, making it a nice little spot to plop down and have a coffee break. The kids also use it as a makeshift stage for their performances, and it’s survived, so that’s saying something.The fact that it folds is pretty neat too. I mean, I haven’t had to fold it away yet because it’s constantly in use, but it’s nice to know that if we ever needed to, we could easily tuck it away. Plus, assembling it was a piece of cake, which is always a huge plus because who has the time for complicated setups, right?However, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. The material isn’t the most luxurious; it’s more on the practical side. So if you’re looking for something that screams “elegance” and “high-end,” this might not hit the mark.
