Good quality confusing install
The bench seems to be good quality as far as I can tell but the hinges were confusing to install and we ended up stripping some of the screws but we were able to fix it, hopefully.

Not great quality for the money – but customer service is top notch!
I have a few of their products that I’ve had for a number of years. They are QUALITY. This new product….not so much. It came faster than expected, but was not swift (even with Prime) and was missing parts, so I had to wait until they sent me them before I could put it together. Their response was fast and kind, but it took forever for the parts to get to me. Putting it together was fine, but the material is not what it used to be. It’s now flimsy and feels/looks cheap. I’m going to keep it because it works for what I need right now, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again. Definitely not an $84 worthy bench. But customer service is wonderful!

Comes with easy to follow, large printed instructions
Came together nicely. All the parts being letter coded really helps, and the assembly instructions are printed large and easy to follow. Includes extra screws and hardware.I like the locking quarter-turn nuts this uses for the legs. They go exactly the right amount of tight and perpendicular.This took me one hour to assemble, including about 15 minutes looking for a drill that worked. Thereâs a lot of screwing involved, and a good drill really helps.There was one thing I really didnât like, and that was the smell of the cushion top after unwrapping the sealed plastic. I had to hold my breath carrying the thing. I think itâs that black material lining the lid, an acrid, synthetic smell. It was totally gone after a few days in the closet. Iâd open that part outside and let it air off before even beginning the assembly, if I were to do it over.Storage capacity is 6 pairs, comfortably, with the top bin for hats, gloves, scarves. Itâs a nice solution instead of having a circle of rug where everyone kicks their shoes off. This gives two people each a go-to slippers, slides, sneakers. Itâs a practical size. Four pairs can fit across if squished or small, but the supports divide it in three visually, so that looks best.Decent value for the price. Good hardware, no flaws in the material, assembles perfectly square, very well-composed guide. A bad guide can ruin a kit, so that was appreciated.

Not top quality but very usable
Would have liked it in a dark wood tone finish but is not available. Black paint with gray cloth seat looks cheap. This is what I could find with the size I needed. I am not excited but not unhappy.

Cheap materials
Not very difficult to build, but the pieces and hardware are low quality. Some of the screws didnât fit in straight and the board easily flaked away so there were some minor issues during assembly. In the end it functions as expected but the compartments are a lot smaller than I thought and it doesnât look like a quality piece. The cushion is very thin and the fabric wrinkles after the first time you sit on it and never returns to its full shape. It works for my needs but Iâm not impressed and wouldnât get it again

Perfect for in front of one side of a sliding glass door
My back door is a six-foot sliding glass patio-style door, and it always had an assortment of shoes, gloves, and hats scattered around and making it look messy. I got this bench and it is the perfect size to fit against the nonsliding side of the door and gives us a place to sit down to put on or take off shoes that can then be stored under the bench and the hats and gloves can go inside the seat.It took a little over an hour to put together, and there were several parts left over. While a two sides screwdriver is included, do bring a better quality one as it will strip out the heads of the screws quite easily and I was glad for the extras included as I stripped out two before I went and got a better screwdriver. Also, the hinge was flexed backward and confused me for a bit as it didn’t match the picture in the instructions, and the other side of the seat did not have pilot holes. It took a bit of force to flex the hinge back to it’s proper alignment, but one it clicked over it went on as it should.
