Replacing an existing deadbolt requires a screwdriver and AA batteries!
This item is a smart door deadbolt lock. It comes complete with everything you need to install on both a new door or replacing an existing deadbolt. The only thing that it doesn’t come with are AA batteries. This smart lock leverages the Tuya protocol over Bluetooth. The set allow for the creation of multiple users with each user having their own passcode (6 to 10 digits) as well as one or more finger prints. The user management is performed via the Tuya app which is a well known and trusted smart home app. This lock also has the ability to auto-lock on a given timeout after being unlocked. Finally, this set comes with both a pair of keys and a pair of NFC/RFID cards. Of course you know how to use the keys, but the RFID cards can also be programmed to specific users via the app as well.Overall, this is a complete set that is super simple to install if you are just replacing an existing deadbolt. It’s easy to setup and configure and just as straightforward to use. I do wish that it leveraged the Tuya protocol over WiFi as well as bluetooth, but at this price point, this is a strong contender with all of it’s smart lock features. I’d definitely recommend.

Easy to install, looks and works great.
I have installed a number of smartlocks and this was by far the easiest to install, and the easiest to program. The directions are very clear on how to install, and I had it installed in five minutes. Once installed I followed the directions, which at first didn’t work. I realized that you need to press the “unlock” button after the code to get it to work (not mentioned in the instructions). Once I had that figured out, it was very easy to program multiple accounts in it. The other smartlock on my door takes several steps and is a pain to program in comparison. I do like that you can lock this quickly once inside using the pushbutton if you choose. As you can see from my photo, you need to carefully measure how far apart the holes for the knob and deadbolt are on your door – this takes up more room than a typical deadbolt. I am using a smart knob below it and they barely fit together (In case you are wondering, the knob I have is from Gelgey and this deadbolt is a perfect match for it). I think the Sophia lock is has a very attractive and elegant appearance, and the convenience of fingerprint unlocking makes life so much easier – easier to open with groceries in your arms, the kids don’t need to carry a key, etc. One of the best features is that it automatically locks 20 seconds after you open it. You will never leave the house wondering if you forgot to lock the door.

So easy to use
Took me awhile to set up but that was user errorVery easy to put new users, use fingerprint, and the cards. I havenât used the app but everything else works great.

Great Lock
I’ve tried a good number of smart locks and this one is great. Easy, straightforward installation. I like that you don’t NEED an app to get this set up. I will note that I did opt to get the app to adjust the time it takes to auto-lock, which is quite short by default. I had a lot of difficulty getting the app to connect to the lock and eventually could not get it to do so. Could be a dealbreaker for some to not be able to connect easily.That said, the lock seems high quality and everything else works very well. It unlocks quite fast and has a nice aesthetic.

I love this lock!
Fairly easy to install and really easy to use once set up! It makes our house feel more securely locked up at night and love that my family and I can each lock up and then easily unlock with a code. We have not set up fingerprint recognition so I cannot speak to that but in my opinion you donât need to because the pin is super easy and it comes with keys just in case!

Elegant, Durable and Secured lock.
Ease of installation. There was an internal issue on the first lock that I initially received. I was contacted by the vendor they went above and beyond solving the problem, immediately shipping out a brand-new exact replacement lock. It functions excellent without any further issues. I certainly recommend this amazing lock and vendor to anyone, definitely will buy from again.

looks great, works perfectly, super customer support
The lock was easy to install and it looks nice.It recognizes my fingerprint easily and it just does, what it’s supposed to do.As it works via Bluetooth only at the moment, I ordered a wifi connector. Let’s see how it’s working then.I’ve had a special request to the customer service and it was handled way better than I imagined.5 stars for the lock and another 5 for the customer service.
