The airtight seal works great! I had a flour beetle infestation in basically all the dry goods in my pantry, so I had to throw all of them out and deep clean the pantry, and then I got these to hopefully avoid ever getting them back. I haven’t seen one since!I even inspect the rice and flour in these jars when I open them to use them, (because I’m traumatized now after seeing a beetle crawl out of my rice), and they’re simply not there. Three cheers for airtight glass jars!

The glass jars came in a very compact pack. The jars aren’t heavy but seem to be sturdy. I am using them to store items that aren’t used very frequently and need to be in air-tight jars. The lids are easy/smooth to open.
