    Beautiful and perfect!
Fit well, slip resistant but might require some Velcro tape to secure a high traffic staircase

Decent for the money, stay put
They stick well. I’ve had them a couple of months, and none have moved. They look as cheap as they are up close, but from a distance they’re ok. They definitely do the job of enabling our dog to safely use the stairs.

Pretty, but make sure you measure.
I haven’t removed the adhesive backing yet, as I’m still trying to decide if these stair treads are going to work for us.We may have an old home, but our stairs are average sized. The carpet treads are smaller than I’d like. As you can see in my photos, they leave a considerable margin of exposed stair. I’d have to place them at the front of each stair so our toes don’t land halfway off the edge of the tread, which isn’t very comfortable. If I put them at the front, then the margin of exposed wood would not be even from front to back. That aside, the pattern compliments our Turkish kilims. Our stairwell doesn’t have direct lighting, so the coloring in those photos look too red/violet. The color is much more accurate in the photos taken on the table, where the treads are predominantly a rust/red.Construction of the treads is decent. The edging is chocolate brown, even, with neat stitching. So I leave you with this: Measure your stairs to make sure these treads will suit your space. They’re nice for a basic tread. The pattern matches an eclectic look. They don’t have a large amount of grip, but they aren’t slippery, either.

    Better than expected!
Firstly, these aren’t exactly carpet and that’s a good thing. They appear to be made of some sort of flocked polypropylene. This results in a grippy texture without the dirt-trapping pile of carpet. The pattern is vibrant and makes for a pleasant face-lift, especially for the disgusting landlord-special staircase in my apartment.I got these for free to review, but if I had another staircase I would buy another set.

When they say non-slip, they really MEAN non-slip!
I feel like a lot of my reviews for home products start off with the disclaimer that we have a very old house and in this instance our staircase needs a little bit of love.Until we can have the stairs professionally redone I needed a way to beautify them and also to stop myself from slipping on the treads which is something I have a tendency to do with a fair amount of frequency. The quality of the stair treads is very good the design is printed onto the top of the stair tread and the color may appear slightly different depending upon your monitor settings. In my case I got the red/multi stair treads and they do have more of a rust tone to them however they look very pretty once on the stairs.I was very skeptical about how well these would adhere to our old wooden stairs as they are not nearly as smooth after 104 years of use as a newer home may be. I needn’t have worried, as these adhered to our stairs very securely once the backing was peeled off and they have not slipped or even threatened to move once. I placed the tread on our very bottom stair first to test it stood on it with a pair of my work boots and shifted about to see if I could get it to budge, roll or fold and it held in place. I did the same test barefooted to see how much traction it would give me and I’m happy to say that for once my feet remained on the stairs. Hallelujah! For the price these are a great deal as you’re getting 15 stair treads, and I love that they’re easy to clean, and can even be machine washed for a deep cleaning.

Look good and dog won’t fall down the stairs
These seem great. These stair treads adhere easily and stay put but the can be removed without any trouble if you don’t get them lined up the first time. I’ll need to see what happens after a couple of months. The color and pattern are classic and should fit well in most settings. The material is more like a tightly woven tapestry than a fuzzy carpet so I think they will stand up well under use.In addition to their decorative value, these should protect the stairs as well as make them less slippery. On that last point, this is a good solution for helping overly eager dogs from falling down the stairs.

    Nice design, easy to install
Functionally, the stair treads are quite soft and comfortable to walk on. I was pretty amazed when I walked on them without shoes for the first time and found the stairs to be much nicer to traverse. Our dogs, who are a bit scared of the wooden stairs because they are slippery, also love these since they add so much more traction. The design is wonderful, but the print quality is a little lackluster – you can see lines throughout the mats. I do still prefer them to the look of the hardwood that is used on our stairs, which does not appear to have been chosen for its looks.Installing was quite easy, but the plastic backing was a bit difficult to remove, especially at the edges and corners. I may need to get some kind of additional adhesive for the corners on a few of the treads.

This Product Tests Patience When Installing
I ordered the sayene non-slip stair treads for use as small walk-off mats in my kitchen; they are placed on a linoleum floor. The most frustrating aspect of installation was removing the thin, brittle plastic that protects the adhesive backing. A small paper tab affixed in the center to aid removal just tore off without affecting the plastic covering. Only by puncturing and slicing the film with a utility knife was I able to grip enough of the material to start dislodging it. Even then, the plastic kept tearing — making it impossible to peel off in one piece. A different type of plastic sheet or perhaps waxed paper would be a better choice.Once the protective backing film is completely removed, the tread can be pressed in place; it adheres to a smooth, dry, clean surface fairly well. So far these have stayed put. I don’t particularly care for the busy, ornate pattern, and would have preferred a solid-color option. This product is sold only in packs of 15; a smaller (7-8) pack would be a more-economical purchase for customers with less-substantial staircases.

Love these. They are best secured with staples but pretty. I cut them down on the curved stairs.

The only little issue is the sticky inderneath could be a little stronger but it’s a great product
