High Quality
This is a replacement set for a different style. These treads are high quality, sleek and give the stairs that extra bit of sensationalism. The non-slip backs are very welcome. Most treads require double sided tape, which is a pain to remove. We’ve had them on for a week without a bit of slipping. The dog really likes them too.

Excellent step treads!
I replaced some carpet treads that would constantly move around and have to be straightened. These look permanent and classy, and they donât move!

Step up from plain slab treads
Tan color goes well with my wooden pine stairs in cabin. They appear as pictured and feel thin, but good on bare feet and with a sewn piping seem a bit more upscale. Vacuuming stairs is not a highlight and these do make it a tad more tedious however, that is made up for in safety and comfort. I was leery of actually sticking these down but soon realized that was unfounded, once I tried one for a few days, peeled it up to find nothing remained. You peel a clear backing off each tread to expose the tacky backing. This clear plastic backing is thin, split in the middleâish and mostly just barely caught in the sewing around the edges. Means you have to be careful and find what works best for you to get them off in 2 large pieces â most come off easily and a few will take you a minute. What could be better is to package and ship these in a box that fit the treads without any bending. Overall theyâre a great way to dress up stairs and to provide additional stepping safety while in socks or similar.

Look what I Did
I renovated these old wooden steps! Stained them deep Kona brown and made the risers white. I had picked these stair treads during the renovation but was very nervous they wouldnât look right or wouldnât stick. Boy was I wrongâ¦ they are fantastic. Super soft and durable. They stick with no problems, even when my pitties go up and down the steps!

Snags – Have to Replace
The stitching snags easily, although I do have dogs. I bought the brown and black. All the brown stitching is coming up. I have replaced after about a month. Beautiful but disappointed.
