Stay in place and helps my old man pup!
My older dog kept slipping/falling when going up or down the steps! These are great, they stay in place and help him tremendously! Unfortunately he is loosing his sight so they also help him see the steps it seems! They donât exactly match my other rugs but they work! Only downside- Wish I could throw them in the wash but they do come clean-ish with damp rag. Good size for the steps!

Looks nice but slip
I love how these look and feel, but they move around a lot so the rubber backing is not enough. Theyâve become a tripping hazard so Iâm going to need to buy a tape.

My parents are elderly & needed a runner for their wooden stairs to prevent slips & falls. So we decided to try these & they are excellent! They have a skid proof bottom that work ok, but as an extra precaution we decided to basically glue them in place which is working greatð

More like a mouse pad
I ordered these after my son fell down our stairs. There is a light smell but nothing horrid. They are not carpet, it reminds me of a mouse pad that has a printed design on it. I ordered the green, thinking it would be bright. It is not, but that’s ok. After reading other reviews, I vacuumed and washed my steps before laying the pads down. They do move a little throughout the day, but I don’t think it’s a tripping hazard.

Perfect for wood stairs!!
Love this item. Ordered them to use on wood stairs for traction as our dog would slip and fall. We didnât want a rug runner or anything that had to be glued or stapled onto the floor so as to not ruin the floors. Theyâre sturdy and look nice! No more slipping!!

I love these
This is my 3rd set of stair treads and my favorite. They are so soft and cushioned more than described, but not so much that we will trip. Easy to install. They stuck on their own, but we are a EXTRA rough family so I use a square of tape to keep in place for longevity. I love the color, goes great with all my decor and can’t see if there is pet hair. Vacuums very easy. They even smelled new instead of funky. Im sure a corner will never pop up on this style and material. My socks didnt stick, felt amazing on my feet and back, and im sure my old doberman is thanking me for the cushion. Hope this helps in making a decision. We are so happy.
