Protect without damage!
I love my old house but the slick stairs were scary! I picked these treads for the design and was resolved to the fact that sticking or nailing something to the wood treads was something I had to do. With these you Donât Have To!! The backing is a type of non-slip rubber!! They stay in place and do nothing to damage the wood of my maple stairs!! Love them!!!

Do Not Stick
Bought these for my stairs. Followed directions. These did not stick at all. I had to buy separate stick attachments for rugs to stick them to the steps.

Not Snag Proof
Sure, these carpet stair treads look really niceâ¦.but one week on the stairs and already a snag on two of the carpet treads. We have one dog and two grown humans in the house, so these steps do not get a lot of activity. The plastic on the back that needs torn off before placing on the stair takes longer to get off than actually âinstallingâ the tread. Very frustrating and the sticky part is hardly sticky at all. You will need to use double sided carpet tape as well. Want to add that I also have not vacuumed yet, so these snags are not from that.

These treads are so pretty, fits our decor, easy to place on the stairs, great quality for the money, soft but very functional. Highly recommend!

Looks good. Reasonable price.
Easy to put down. Looks nice. My only issue is they all need more adhesive. The edges are starting to curl a tad bit. I’ll try to some two way tape that I used for my area rug.

They look great and served the purpose they were purchased for.
Item was purchased for added traction on the steps after we installed Lifeproof treads. Our Rotties were having trouble coming down the stairs without sliding down the stairs. They are easy to install, but they don’t really hold as good as I hoped. Some added double sided tape was needed to secure the carpet to the treads. Our dogs are on the larger side so they would tend to slip. After adding the tape, they work great. Our dogs can easily go up and down the stairs without any problems.

Very attractive
Very attractive, grip well, comfortable underfoot. NOTE: They are listed as being trimmable but, unless you finish the bound edge, they will unravel and fray. I own a serger and finished the edge easily with it. I only had to trim I tread.

Perfect and beautiful
These are exactly as pictured. Very easy to put on, as long as you’re carefully taking the backing off each piece. Have them for about 2 months now. They stick very well, peel off easy, vacuum with no problem. So impressed and very happy with my purchase. They’re so soft and thick. Feels good under feet. I put them on to help my older dog navigate the steps better and what a difference it’s made for him. He’s so much more confident going up and coming down. I vacuumed and washed the steps first, then after drying completely carefully applied each one. Vacuum, wash dry and apply only Took about 1 hour. I can’t emphasize enough about carefully removing the backing to peel off all of it, that’s key to applying and sticking. So worth every dollar! I’ll definitely order another set for other steps!
